Then why didn't he fight Lara when Lara called him out? Lara just called him a fraud too. Let's see what he does about it this time around.

Trout's best fight was still Lopez probably, a decent/solid fighter. Lara whupped Paul Williams, he's more proven in my eyes. Trout does have a good fight on June 2nd with Delvin though, that's a very good fight. We'll see about Trout. He called all these people out but then went back to utter silence when Lara mentioned him and called him on that.

Lara beats Trout, I'll bet the house on it. Trout has never fought anyone as good as Williams, Molina, or Lara himself.

If trout goes forward with the Dzinziruk fight later this year, then Id' like to see Lara rematch Molina, he needs to.

I don't know about Martinez but he did beat Williams easier than Martinez did in their first fight, also Lara will be the most technical and pure boxer that he would face and with alot of pop in both hands, ppl that bring the Molina's fight fail to mention that Lara couldn't train with Shields, he was with Rigondeaux off to Ireland for his fight against Casey, the Molina fight got almost cancel because Lara had a tooth infection 3 days before the fight, again none of this is Molina's fault, I just pointing this out because what do you think will happen if a healthy and well trained Lara shows up against Molina? The first fight was close and Molina managed to out hustle Lara in a few rounds, the best and cleanest punches were land by Lara and in the eighth or ninth round he hurt Molina, he couldn't follow up because he was lethargic, be honest my fellow posters and without any bias answer the question...

this guy wil not beat martinez, his only two fights against known fighters was against molina which was controversial, and a fading williams,if we go by those two fights martinez beats him easily besides if he does go up and lose to martinez we will hear the weight excuse as to why he lost,so he should just stay at 154 and he will get his shot, wasn't last nights fight an eliminator? thats what i heard the announcer say, even if it takes a while he'll get his shot, martinez wont fight him when he will make triple the money against chavez(if they fight)..as any fan i would like to see him and canelo fight but who knows how long that would take, would rather see that instead of martinez and if lara wins then go up

I think Lara's good but really? He KO's Ronald Hearns and now he believes he would no doubt KO the 3rd P4P in the world?? Slow your roll bro.

Two very good strong southpaws with a lot of power, both like to us the ring a lot. Lara is the more fundementally sound of the two, Martinez probably has slightly faster hands and more athleticism. Sounds like a 50-50 fight to me.

Nothing wrong with confidence, specially when you have a well of talent at your disposal, like i say before I don't know the outcome in a fight between Lara-Martinez, what I know is that it will not be easy for neither one of them... and why those against Lara still avoiding the question, what would happen in a fight against Molina with a well trained and focused Lara?

Lara not too fast you didnt knockout a top fighter in Ronald Hearns. And now your thinking of the same thing with Martinez that kind of attitude telling me your not going anywhere.

It has nothing to do with his win against Hearns, he's being asking for this fight since last year, everyone at 154 is avoiding him and is really hard to get him fights, even the cab drivers don't want to square off against Lara, so he is willing to go to 160, I wish we have more fighters like Lara, props to Hearns for taking this fight did you guys c the size difference? I don't think Lara is 5'9", he is more like 5'7", I remember years ago when I met Camacho he was listed at 5'7", his head was level with my shoulder and he was wearing high hills and I just 5'8"...
