Cotto is too slow, never has been the same after he was destroyed by Pac.
Anybody can destroy a weight drained fighter. Catchweights are made to benifit one fighter. What I find even more pathetic is how Pacquiao wanted Cotto to come down 2 pounds for the first fight then he demand's Cotto to come down 7 pounds for the rematch.

Cotto is naturally at least 10 pounds bigger than Mayweather. Mayweather will enter the ring at 150-152 and Cotto will be over 160 pounds. And i think it could be a GREAT fight, maybe it will be like Mayweather vs. Jesus Chavez! It was a great fight, Mayweather couldnt really hurt Chavez, even though he landed lots of precise, hard shots on him. The corner stopped it in round 10 though because they thought Chavez took to manny clear hard punches. But Chavez was comming forward until it lasted, he fought like a bull and landed some good punches as well. Mayweather was only 1-2 rounds ahead when they stopped it because Chavez threw way more punches, Mayweather landed more though. I think Cotto should study the Mayweather vs. Chavez fight and fight like Chavez!
Chavez couldnt hurt Mayweather but that fight was at 130.
i tell people to rewatch that fight all the time because they would see it alot different now. At that time Floyd was seen as even more invincable then he is now after the way he destroyed Chico.

No one had done anything to him. That means that people gave Chavez way more credit then they shouldve because of the curve they were grading it on. If you rewatch that fight now, you would think it was a master piece by Floyd and the fight wasnt close at all.

Try it but dont do it if you wont be unbiased and dont let a guy like Foreman cloud it either...........lol

What's going to be the difference in this fight is that Floyd will adjust to whatever style Cotto executes to try and beat Mayweather. Once Floyd gets in his rhythm after he figures Cotto out then Cotto will be lost and Floyd is going to pound him out. Props to Cotto for being so determined but Floyd's toughness is very underrated because of his mouth.

If I analyse cotto`s style I realise that he is just about tailor made for floyd.

Short arms that cant keep floyd at distance, slow feet work that unable`s him to catch floyd, slow hands that will miss the target over and over, when cotto gets hit to much he shots down, No devastating knock out power.

Lets turn it around and build a boxer that would give floyd trouble,a boxer with long arms, very fast feet, very fast hands, when you hit him he hist you 2 times back, throws with Devastating power=the opposite of cotto

I hate to be raining on enyones parade but Cotto aint got a chance in hell to win this fight.

Let's see, Cotto is undefeated, and arguably hasn't lost a round since losing to Pac. Yep, I'd say he appears to be severely damaged from that one. <<>>

I will keep adding to my sig and pointing out the clowns who ironically tend to disappear when Floyd wins....
I was wondering why are you quoting Bombs for this fight. Everyone knows he is a troll and he dont believe half of what he said. We can count here that over 90% of Cotto fans/stans are hoping that he will win and/or rooting for him to win. But they know who is Floyd and it is hard to bet against the best boxer in the world.

I've read that from a couple of people in here but Cotto always faces people with longer reach then him. The only person with the same reach that he has faced in the last couple of years is Pac. Long arms does not necessarily mean that you will keep someone at bay. Think inside game, also, to make someone give up their height and reach you make them come to you. Hence why someone like margarito with a way longer reach then cotto couldn't keep cotto at bay.

Slow feet? Cotto is one of the best at cutting off the ring.

With that said I have Mayweather by UD but Cotto is better then most in these departments then you give him credit for.
