That is a dangerous thing when Cotto is facing a fighter who is faster, better defense and smarter. With the way Cotto swells short sharp counter punches will take a toll. Then on the outside PBF's speed and reach create whole different problem.

Every fighter that faces PBF has a lot to overcome and its the totality of those things that makes it so hard on his opponents.

Can someone show me when PBF has shown that he can be hurt by bodyshots? I've yet to see it.

watch the first fight with Castillo, Floyd was feeling those body shots and just cause he doesnt show that they affect him they affect him same as anyone else.

The bigger issue is you gotta hit Floyd first, if you cant hit him it doesnt matter how good a body puncher you are. I think cotto has the right skill set to make this a competitive contest and maybe even surprise a lot of people. That said we will all find out real quickly if that assessment is wrong. I expect cotto to come out and surprise Mayweather the first couple of rounds by using his timing and jab to be very effective. The million dollar question is , as he usually does, will Mayweather adjust and take over? If he does Cotto is in for a long night if he is unable to we have a very serious fight on our hands.

1st of all, Floyd is very vulnerable @ 154. Oscar gave him all he could handle & Shane had him too, at a lower weight. To me it's simple to beat Floyd; use a good jab, use the overhand right & work the body when he lays on the ropes. Even still, IMO Floyd KOs Miguel late. But Floyd hasn't impressed me since Diego.
