This is the tough one for me....I might go with ADPO2 with this. But, I'm not confident with that pick.

I think all this talk about lineage the past couple days has taken it's toll on the board.

Well that's the thing with Floyd .... there is a pattern .......
- he asked Ortiz to fight him too after just one fight at 147 ... that's a young but naive Ortiz that still had things to work on before he should have fought Floyd.

- Marquez was asked to move up 2 divisions.

- Hatton - come back up to 147 after going back down to 140.

- Floyd wanted and may get his wishes next against a Canelo that still needs to mature and take on more fights before he should face a Floyd.

- It was stated that he may face Khan next year if Khan .... but Khan may first fight once at WW .... then he is ready for Floyd .... or should I say, Floyd is ready for Khan!

There are more but you get my point? 2005 was too early for that fight but that was perfect for Floyd. Cotto vs Floyd should have happened at the end of 2007 or early 2008 but that is when Floyd went on vacation ....

When it was rumored that Floyd is fighting Ortiz next,the *******s and the Floyd haters in general said."B.S.Floyd would never fight a big strong south Paw like Ortiz,Floyd duck tough opponents blah blah blah"

But when it was confirmed that Floyd was fighting Otiz the discrediting of Ortiz as a good opponent for Floyd started shortly after.And this is the same Ortiz who was said to have beat up Pacquiao in sparring and Ortiz called out Pacquiao but Pac chosed a old a$$ washed up Mosley.

Marquez also moved up 2 weight classes to fight Pacquio that fixed fight he had at 140 was not a real fight.

And hatton won a title at 147 and Floyd started his career at 130 and Hatton started his Career at 140.

Floyd already said that Canelo has to beat some quality fighters before he considers fighting Canelo.

And Cotto never pushed for a fight with Floyd in 2007,cotto already said that.And Floyd went on vacation in 2008 which was 2 years after he tried to make the fight with Cotto.And Floyd was suing Arum in 2007/2008 so he did`nt want to work with Arum who promoted Coto at the time.

The fight with Cotto was in high demand since 2005 which is when Floyd first tried to do a fight with Cotto and Cotto was`nt interested.

I usually back up my statements ... you may not like them but you can't refute them and you may not have realized this but there are many who have stated that I make really good points.

I have no problem when someone doesn't agree with me but at least back it up and lets have a discussion .... but to simply say "your an idiot" is quite childish.

I'm probably double your age and know more and have seen more than you ..... when I bring up Frazier, Ali, Foreman it's not because I just saw a clip on the Classic channel ..... but that is besides the point. Yep, same thing with Mosley. Remember, Floyd was clearly afraid of Shane after the Marquez fight. He never wanted to fight him, he was forced into it when Berto couldn't go after the earthquake in Haiti. Floyd really wanted to fight Matthew Hatton.

Just like now. He's just trying to spite Arum. Bob already told us Floyd was really going to fight Erik Morales on May 5.

Mosley run out of gas after the 2nd round. I won't expect that with Cotto. Floyd's days are numbered.

I have said this before. Floyd didn't intend to pick Cotto. He did it out of spite for Arum and had to make a quick, unplanned decision. Truth of the matter was, Cotto/Pac 2 wouldn't have happened, anyway. Fans, which included Pac fans, were strongly against a Pac/Cotto rematch. Obviously, Arum began to be aware of the opposition to it and started negotiating with Bradley.

In short, Floyd chose Cotto with a heavy heart.

Canelo is really the easier fight and the original Cinco de Mayo plan hatched by GBP/Floyd.

I'll be frank. You may want to underestimate Cotto at this point in his career, but Floyd has to train like a madman on this fight. Cotto would take Floyd with him in hell on this fight. Floyd could get hurt.

Floyd wanted Pacquiao but since Him and Pacquiao could`nt come to an agreement he chose the second biggest fight he can make which was Cotto.

Why dont you apply the same criteria to what Floyd says when he dont say it , somehow I continually see you telling us what Floyd means when he dont say something , you inherent haters let your hate influence everything you say .

I've started plenty of historical threads and resume based threads and you NEVER take part in any of the discussions. You only discuss Floyd and Pacquiao related things. Throwing out Ali's name isn't changing anyone's mind
