    This is for all the Floyd haters and all the brainwashed people who claim Floyd ducked Cotto.In this ESPN interview with Cotto he admit he had no interest in fighting Floyd back then.





    Brian Campbell: Most people believe this fight against Mayweather should have taken place five years ago. From your point of view, why hasn't it happened until now?
    First of all, I'm always available to face everyone. My feeling is that if the fight didn't happen before, then it wasn't right for my case [at the time]. It is available now and will happen this year on Saturday, May 5, so I am going to be prepared.

    Was the Mayweather fight one that you pushed for through the years at any point behind the scenes with Bob Arum?



    Cotto: I never pushed for it at any time before. I would just see what is the best fight that I can get fight by fight. This one is the best one for me now. This is the best chapter in my career so far.







    Here`s Arum admitting back in 2006 that Floyd asked for 10 million to fight Cotto and would have fought Margarito for 8 millioon dollars if Arum guaranteed him 10 mil for Cotto,10 mil for Hatton, and 20 mil for Oscar:

            Not pushing for a fight and avoiding a fight are two different things. I've never heard Cotto call anybody out. By that logic he ducks everyone.

              Where did he say he "avoided" Mayweather? More like he didn't bother dealing with all the bull**** to get a fight. It's obvious Cotto's the fall-out guy for Mayweather. I'm even surprised he took the fight with Cotto!!!

                well then it works both ways, cotto admits he didnt push for the fight and mayweather did at least push for the fight once. there u have it.

                  He didn't admit to avoiding he basically just said he never demanded it.

                  If Arum wanted to make that fight when he had both of them, it would have been made.

                    Stop with ya`ll bull**** Not pushing for a fight with Floyd is avoiding you clowns because Floyd tried to make a fight with Cotto numerous times.Did`nt you same clowns claim Floyd avoided Cotto and everybody under the sun?


                    Now that its shown Floyd call these guys out now you clowns want to claim: "not being interested in a fight and ducking is 2 different things" lol.
