After the 8 count Steele asked Taylor a question and Taylor looked away that is why the fight was stopped if Taylor responds I think Steele lets it continue.

Mosley kod Mayorga with less than five seconds to go after being knocked down. Chavez had plenty of time to seriously damage Taylor more than he already was. All you crybabies ranting on about time have no leg to stand on. Taylor didnt respond when asked twice. Game over./Chavez may have killed him that night had it continued.
Again, Mosley stopped Mayorga after the ref let t he fight continue with five seconds remaining. Mosley landed one more punch that put Mayo down for good. Chavez would have done the same.

I don't agree with the second option given for this question. How do you "let the fight continue" when Taylor is slumped in the corner and unable to respond coherently? A more accurate second option would have been "deliberately allowed crucial seconds to roll off the clock in order to secure a victory for an unresponsive Taylor".

Thoughts?
Your job was to protect the fighters
While being assertive,You ask Taylor a simple question that can be answered by a simple gesture.
"Are You OK?"
Glances at you briefly as he looks away. Taylor doesn't respond
You ask him again? "Are you OK?"
Taylor looks around, confused, as if he doesn't know where he's at
Now do you see him fit to continue? Or do You stop the fight?
