There is no chance in hell that I see Macklin stopping Sergio. Sergio has been KOed once and that was a decade ago against Margarito. Sergio has fought Williams, Cintron, Pavlik and was never hurt so I cannot see Macklin stopping him whatsoever. Since moving to middleweight, Sergio has knocked out 3 of the last 4 guys he has fought, 3 who have never been stopped, which does not bode well for Macklin. Also Sturm had Macklin almost out on his feet at the end of their fight and Sturm has a 37% KO percentage. Macklin is just too easy to hit and while I agree Sergio takes mid fight breaks, keeps his hands low and has defensive lapses...I just think he is too strong, has too good of a chin and is too fast for Macklin. I am going with a 7th-8th round stoppage of Macklin.
