Did Martinez get a new strength and conditioning coach? I'm a big fan of Martinez but he shouldn't be fighting guys like this...he complains that he can't get the big fights (Floyd, Manny, Cotto, Chavez etc), truth is they are big draws and don't wanna risk it against him, but he's also a bigger draw than some dangerous guys like Pirog and he won't risk it against him. He had his biggest purse offer vs Pirog and dropped it...Hopefully Martinez airs Macklin out and moves on to a real fight. Get ur MW title back so Floyd can tax it from you

Pirog wanted that fight in Russia. HBO isn't going to Russia and Sergio does what HBO says. Pirog doesn't want to play ball with the US networks so he gets the ***** end of the stick.

I think it's going to be the other way around, Macky will put Mara away inside ten. Serg loves to drop his guard and tires out as the fight goes on and he has been fighting slow boxers with no lateral movement. Macky's a little bit different, the kid knows how to move with a decent speed that can punch to go with his killer instinct. His age does play a big factor. If Macky hurts Mara, he's done!
