why are so many people STILL beating this dead horse?

the one thing currently preventing the fight is the fight purse/split and that nobody can agree on who gets how much. period.
I think we, as fans, suffer from "the boy that cried wolf" syndrome.

Since 2009, how many times have we heard from Team Pac "testing is not a problem", only to find out that testing is a problem because Team Pac only goes by the commission. Wash, rinse and repeat.

I think we're traumatized from years and years of "testing is not a problem", only for testing to still be a problem.

I think its funny that pac fans say well nobody other than Floyd is asking for OST testing, why would they, to risk their big payday? Those same opponents are subjecting themselves to testing per Floyds request. ie. Mosley and Cotto. They have leverage and are cashcows so there going to get what they want as opponents want big paydays. So, those excuses are invalid.

This isn't about blame, its about accountability. MAnny isn't making concessions. He is realizing he let the best deal slip away and now he wants it back. I know you love manny, but you have to accept at some point he simply made a mistake by listening to people who told him to refuse that deal.

Manny wants what he already turned down. In the real world that doesn't happen.

I think it was very ****** for Manny to say such a thing, but even more ****** would be for Floyd to blow off this fight all together just because Pac mentioned that. Floyd is the king of contradiction, yet all of a sudden he wants to hold someone to their word? LOL. Do what's right. Split the revenue and get it on. Is Floyd forgetting that Pac has outsold him in overall ppv's over the span of both their careers? Pac puts more asses in seats and brings in more revenue to LV when he fights. Yet Floyd feels that he doesnt deserve ANY ppv revenue? Haha. That roadblock is worse than pathetic.

no its not. not in this case at least. for once, neither camp is complaining about the testing issue. ESPECIALLY floyd's camp.

its always been, "Take the test, manny!", "Take the test, manny!"

but now, its, "Gimme more money manny!", "Gimme more money manny!"

He isnt asking for the same deal back. He's doing even better. He's saying Full OSDT rather than asking for any cutoff's.

Full OSDT for both fighters with a 50/50 split of revenue > 14day cutoff for Pac with a 50/50 split.

                Which deal is better?

You yourself said that Floyd is being greedy and the deal he offered Pac was unfair. So what's the problem? How can you not see that Floyd is the one preventing this fight from happening now? Oh I forgot....You're stuck on what happened in 09.

We've heard plenty of times from Floyd, "just take the tests, and we got a fight"

Since he recently stated he now wants 100% of the revenue, we now know that testing never was the issue, it was just floyd putting up another roadblock in negotiations.

Its funny, during the press conf with Cotto he was asked about Manny, he was so accustomed to mention testing that he stated again that it was holding the fight back, but forgetting he just recently said it was the 100% revenue split that he wanted that they couldnt agree on. But to use testing as an excuse, its engrained into his and his fans heads. This thread is a good example.

manny was consistent with his claim. he's willing to get the lesser purse... IF floyd wins over him.

                    floyd simply refused.

this simply means that manny is more of a gambler than floyd.

Once again...you need to be a bit more clear. Are you referring to Floyd's ******ity for blowing off the fight, or Manny's for making a ****** statement?

If its Pac you're referring to, it was ****** because Floyd looking for another roadblock used Pac's words against him to prevent the fight from happening. Pac gave him the ammunition to throw up the roadblock. That's how.
