Hatton was at the Floyd/Gatti fight just like Cotto was. Hatton was undefeated just like Cotto was. But in '07 Hatton fought Floyd, Cotto didn't. Stay on topic man, the reason why Bob Arum is brought up is because Cotto was a Top Rank fighter in 2007/2008. The guys you just mentioned are/were all 154/160lbs, Floyd has campaigned at 147lb for a while now. This will only be his second fight at 154lb, chill out.

floyd turned down a career high payday to fight cotto. how is that arum's fault? floyd didn't fight cotto when he was with top rank either so why is it arum's fault that floyd refused to fight cotto after he left top rank as well? the pattern seems to be that floyd didn't want to fight cotto not that arum didn't want cotto to fight floyd since he offered him a career high payday completely disproves that lie. oh well it just sounds better to lie i guess. kinda like take the test! it sounds so cool but does it mean anything? nope.

This video is in 2007, go to "5:20" on the video...it doesn't seem like he was ever afraid of/or ducking Cotto. Arum never wanted it to go down, and after Cotto sat ring side at Mayweather/Gatti he definitely didn't wanna force a fight with Mayweather.

You are looking at this after the fact .... in fairness, even Floyd was knocked down by Judah.

Both came back and beat Judah.

The time for that fight was when Floyd took his retirement. Both were undefeated. Now after 2 bad losses, hearing Floyd vs Cotto is just not the same anymore. Now saying that it took Cotto to leave Arum for the fight to happen is laughable. Again, its not the same anymore!

hate? when you factor in all the other evidence i showed where he avoided cotto it's pretty damning. it just adds up. everyone in boxing wanted him to fight cotto and he inexplicably took nearly 2 years off. whether he retired or not doesn't matter because he wasn't facing cotto when he was active either.
