I believe Pacman is special, but I don't believe he's a mind reader. Tell us what he, Pac, thinks, I'll go for that, but how does he know what Mayweather thinks. Believe this, if Pac beat Cotto, Mayweather is going to beat him too. He may not hurt him as bad, but Manny is an animal.

but really if cotto had problems, its his fault for taking that fight, he knew the risks he was taking, so with problems regarding weight is just part of the sport, but all this catchweight stuff is kinda bs considering that in the old days of boxing that didn't even exist
          STOP !!

If Cotto had problems, it was because Pussiao demanded a catch-weight.

          So get real dude.

Pac ducked Cotto at 147, the catch-weight demand was a show-stopper.

Now Pac will not fight Cotto at 154, like Mayweather will..... in fact, Pac will not even fight Cotto at 150.

What the *** is up with that ?

Pacquiao simply will not fight a Cotto who will come in healthy.

          I smell PU55y !!

The fact that Manny did not fight the best version of Cotto, means that he gets no credit for that win, hard luck Pussiao for demeaning your own achievment.

FACT: There are two reasons to demand a catchweight.....

1.) you are not good enough to beat your opponent at his natural weight

2.) you are attempting to drain him in order to obtain an unfair advantage

Originally, I assumed that it was reason #2, because Pussiao had already fought at 147 before he faced Cotto..... but now I can see that it is #1 as well..... Pac is not good enough to beat Cotto at his best weight, because he is simply too scared to try.

At 154, it would be healthy for Cotto but unhealthy for Pac. At 147, it would be healthy for Pac but unhealthy for Cotto. Either way, one fighter would be at a disadvantage.

Anyway, I expect Cotto, to give his best shot!
....and with 10oz. gloves, to lessen Pac's power, that's for sure.

okay so if thats the case, then they should have never fought each other, look, pacquiao is a big lightweight, he has no business fighting others above 150 at this point, we saw what happened vs margarito, if he fought a better fighter that night at that weight, he would've at the very least gotten knocked down

it would be unfair for pac to go past 150, it would be unfair for cotto to drop weight, its unfair for everyone, so pac should just stay in his weight class, and cotto stay in his

someone was gonna have the advantage, and at the end of the day, cotto willingly took the catch weight, if u dont like the catch weight, then....dont....take....the.....fight end of story
