I hate when people say "So on so is a really slick fighter for a Mexican, he's a very technical boxer", Yeah, for a Mexican. Man look who they looked technical against. In a fight with Adrien Broner, he'd get outboxed and probably knocked out.
I think so too, while Miguel is in the pocket dipping, sliding, and trying to use defensive movements that a guy like Prescott is too slow to time and capitalize on Broner will be there landing clean power punches.

      Who has Broner out-slicked exactly?

      Ponce? Perez? Litzau?

Would see the same argument can be made against Broner who's yet to fight a good boxer.

The feeling I got from reading the thread.....

If Canelo and Prescott couldn't discourage or take Miguel out with their power what makes some posters think AB will???

The only way Broner can get a little bit of credit for a win is by beating Rios, Gamboa, Guerrero.

^All of this means that his career is going on the right path, he's held to high standards on who can beat him and who can't beat him. This is exactly what you want for a future PPV star. IMO he needs to get all these B and C level fighters out of the way before going in the the A rank fighters. I believe he can beat them, but I actually ant to see him put these DeMarcos, Burns and Vazquez in his resume. He's 22 years old, he has a lot of learning and growing up to do, so he shouldn't be rushed in with the big names just yet. But he's doing really good right now.
If he beat Demarco or Vazquez he would get credit from the actual fans. But the other 3 i dont think are up to much Lundy might be good but has to beat better opp

All this 135 talk though... I'd still like to see him fight Uchiyama and see if he can claim the 130 crown....... plus a fight between 2 top 5 undefeated boxers is always good fun
I totally agree with this right here...

He fought a bigger guy out of of his weight class with some pop.... Didn't get stopped (Canelo).... Fought a guy with turn ur lights off power (Prescott) didn't get stopped.... What makes anyone think AB will??? Does he have more power then either of those guys listed WHEN Miguel fought them??? NO

So again I ask if they couldn't do it what makes ppl think AB can???
