Anyone who states that Mayweather ducked Canelo to fight Cotto is an absolute fool and don't know **** about boxing.

canelo brings in more ppv, more revenue more profits, but is a young prime fighter.......

Dude, do you realize what you be saying? Marquez demanded the catchweight against Pacquiao because he wanted to be I think the first or second Mexican to win titles in 4 divisons.... How could Manny defend his WW title at Jr. WW???? Marquez demanded the catchweight fight. According to you guys Pacquiao was weight drained for that fight. That's what you guys say for every catchweight fight. So if Cotto and Margarito was weight drained be fair and use YOUR own logic and say Manny was weight drained....

Floyd picked Cotto because Floyd wanted to stick it to Team Pacquiao.
Floyd also wanted to stick it to Bob who wanted to match Chavez Jr with Cotto.

Alvarez would be an easy fight to.

Mayweather, PAC & cotto are the top PPV guys out there. By picking cotto mayweather assures himself bigger PPV numbers then PAC. Smart move & mayweather should be able to move & box to a victory. Hope he loses though lol

cotto is passed it and past his prime so yes its an easier fight then fighting a hungry young buck reguardless of canelo being green. people get real and wake up were talking about cotto here that barely beat a brawler named mosely.so yes its an easier fight for may but I still give cotto a slim chance of wining.canelo I think would have a better chance because of his size.

nah, he picked him for the same reason he picked Shane after the Manny fight fell through, he was the best VIABLE commercial option.
