Although shot, Mosley is the most dangerous fighter he's ever went against.

People are so quick to overlook the fact that he's only 21.

Let me say it again and again.

    21.... He's 21.
Wasn't Alvarez supposed to be fighting Kirkland? Fact of the matter is that he hasn't been tested by any of the legit guys at 154. Cotto either but Cotto has fought some solid fights in his career but just came up short for the two biggest. Alvarez is out of his mind to try and disrespect a vet like Cotto by saying Cotto was the easier fight compared to him, when he is only fighting easy fights.

Cotto is not letting this pass up -- PLD in his training camp too -- pretty sure they're going to learn to avoid the right counter as it's Floyd's biggest weapon. And when he does that and hits Floyd with combos, hurting him, Floyd is in for a looooong night.
But he is much faster than Cotto. Get ready to pay up after the fight. Respect your confidence in Cotto by the way.

Dude.. it's the name of the game... everyone is trying to make more money and get the more lucrative fights.

This is the fight game... If Alvarez wants to make that statement who cares. He's just trying to get attention like every other fighter in the game.

heres my response to the canelo is young.......only 21 years of age.

canelo has fought old shot fighters (like Ndou) or complete bums like mathew hatton..........

canelo fighting at a early age is NOTHING special..........in fact it has been done countless of times.

but the difference is most guys who fought early on fought other YOUNG fighters..........canelo has switched it up & fought bums or shot to **** fighters.

canelo should be facing austin trout. (a young fighter who's only 4 years older then canelo himself)

but of course if he took this path he would be ko'd by now.................

i don't see anything special that this kid is doing.

Canelo can't be compared to Mike Tyson. Canelo is a champion because he is popular not because of his skills or accomplishments. Canelo has some potential but he has no business being mentioned as an opponent of Mayweather at the moment, aside from the fact that Canelo is a popular cash cow.
I know who beat who for what... my point is lets not act like Tyson beat a world beater for his title either. Even if Tysons win over Berbick is better than Alvarez', it's not some huge victory.

I don't even know how we got to this comparison lol.

Well he's not doing anything really special yet.. which is kind of the point I was making... he doesn't really need to be doing anything special yet... just getting experience.

Mosley is better than his last opponent, and I have no doubt that his opponent after Mosley will be even better. It may not be as fast a pace as others would like... but they ARE stepping his competition up slowly one fight at a time. And theres really nothing wrong with that.

I don't know what u see in canelo, me I just don't see a boxer that struggles with boxers like Gomez & Jose cotto, becoming an ATG...
                P.S.
Roy Jones was more hype then anything else

Unfortunately we are in the day and age where fans seem to forget how to properly build and develop a fighter.

You're a bit delusional my man, Ortiz didn't make Floyd miss at all, that's why Ortiz's eye was almost swollen shut. Floyd did made Ortiz miss a lot of shots though. Cotto's got a decent strong jab, but the way he shoots it is rather slow and predictable imo, thats why Judah rocked him several times. One of the first things Cotto will learn about Floyd when he gets in there with him May 5th is that he(Cotto) is actually the smaller man, Floyd may not be a natural MW but his frame is bigger then Cotto's and he's taller and much longer than Cotto, after he hard counters over the top of Cotto jab a few times, I doubt Cotto continues throwing it..
