I do not see Cotto lasting 12 rounds
Hope I'm wrong but Floyd could have a truly bad year. Struggle against Cotto, jail, then a Manny fight after jail (which I would make an even fight becuse you NEVER know what a jail senetcne does to someone) and floyd could have an 0-1-1 year, Obviously on paper that is not a likely scenario.

Look at these clips....Cotto looked confused as hell vs Clottey & Clottey was landing everything

Sr. is right. Cotto has nothing extraordinary besides his jab, he's just real solid all around. Nothing Floyd won't be able to handle in my opinion. He'll have that jab figured out and completely nullified inside of 6 rounds.

In fairness, Cotto could not see the right hand coming with that gash. To the poster saying look at Cotto's face after the clottey fight.....there was hardly any swelling, just the deep gash from that headbutt.

Come on now. Floyd doesn't throw enough to do that. Floyd, in my opinion has the power to stop Cotto. He just won't step on the gas enough to do it. And he won't have Cotto's face looking like that cause he just doesn't throw enough to do it.

My thing is, who has he made look like that even at 147lbs?

I think people really forget the type of fighter Floyd is today, cautious, accurate, and very economical with his punches. If Cotto loses, I believe he'll look more like this

Wait didnt Clottey cause the gash? Imagine Mayweather landing all the punches Clottey did? Mayweather is a far better puncher with more array of punches than Clottey....

I don't disagree I just think floyd has a lot to deal with right now that could impact his performance. Floyd hasn't had to fight facing a jail sentence.

The cut was caused from a headbutt, not Clottey's right hand.
