I also think he's a little overrated by some people, that happens with all fighters going through hot streaks though. But to accomplish what he has accomplished at his age and with the little experience he had before taking up the sport is very impressive.
really? p4p #3? gtfo with that shlt. did you guys forget what paul williams did to him? what about Kermit Cintron? Even Margarito whooped his ass. LOL he beat Pavlik who already got exposed by BHOP and he beat P.Williams who was outboxed by Cintron and Quintana. We all saw what Lara did to him as well. Come on Man Martinez hasn't beat anyone that is noteworthy how the **** is he p4p #3 on everyone's list????
I just don't see it.
Something told me not log on today, I should've listened.
Now this here, this right here, is a genious post.
Don't you find it funny that Martinez is being called overrated while the 2 guys above him won't fight him?
Hell 1 guy won't even fight Migual Cotto without yet another mannyweight of 148 & just got beat by a lightweight. Talk about overrated.
So what's Sergio's excuse for not fighting Ward, Bute, Dawson, Hopkins who are all below him p4p? Why should any of these guys be ranked if they are unwilling to fight p4p no 10 Vitali?

I didn't know those guys were champs at 160, I musta missed that memo. I'm pretty sure Martinez would fight B-Hop at 160. Go learn the sport & to read & understand then come holla clown.

If he wants to prove himself, move up a weight class and fight them.
