In the months following his disappointing points loss to Manny Pacquiao this past May, Shane Mosley received his share of criticism due to his listless performance, with some even calling for the 40-year old’s retirement from the sport. One man who made a point to stand by Shane was the fighter’s trainer Naazim Richardson, who has been with him dating back to his January 2009 upset over Antonio Margarito. [Click Here To Read More]

Mosley's Retirement Date
In other words, or what Naseem is really trying to say is that this kid will send Sugar Shane into permanent retirement on cinco de mayo. I think this is Mosley's last big payday that he can carry into retirement. I see the fight going in either of two ways. First, if Mosley goes into survival mode and fight like he did against PacMan, he will lose a boring 12 round decision. Second, If Mosley comes to fight, He gets ktfo. Just that simple.

Doesnt sound too confident in Shane at all. He's asking all the questions we as fans ask and wanna know but he wont answer them(probably since he's his trainer)
But he knows whats up. He's probably telling him to retire

It's sad Shane's career has come to this. From seeming unbeatable at lw, to being timid old man. What's worse about this is that if even a fraccion of the old Shane shows up and he lets his hands go, he could beat Canelo...Hell, if he lets his hands go at all I could see this as being a bit interesting...but it's been years since Shane remembered he was a lion....

Mark my words, Shane Mosley will either knock Cinnamon out or lose a very close decision. While many think Margs was Shane's last hurrah, I think he has one last performance left in him and Canelo is just the type of fighter that can bring it out. We shall see

Golden Boy Makes Another Colossal Mistake; Mosley KO's Canelo!
I don't care how hot this 21 year old Canelo is. He's not a 21 year old Mike Tyson. No way this kid beats Shane Mosley no matter how Shane looked against Pacquiao or Mayweather. Shane is always in fighting shape, still hits with a ton of bricks, still has his hand speed, and way too much experience for some 21 year old phenom. Mosley KO's Canelo, and Golden Boy takes yet another step in the wrong direction, as well as Canelo's career path taking a detour.

Mosley just suck now. He doesn't even deserve to be fighting anymore, specially the way he looked against Paquiao. he just went in there and collected a paycheck and ripped off all the fans. didn't even try to do anything to pacquiao just try to avoid getting hit. he should of took some chances at least but his plan was to dance around and get payed. he pretty much said fk the fans I need to get payed. Canelo better knock him out because mosley is a walking punching bag now days.
