i do not see any way shane can beat canelo. canelo's fast combo's will keep shane at bay. i dont see canelo koing shane though. if shane fights like he did v pac, he is washed up. if he fights good v canelo who has decent defense and good strong combos, then my suspecting shane took a dive v pac will be confirmed.

^^^ His performance against Pac? Did you not see his Floyd or Mora fight? I don't think he's kidding....that's him now. Yeah, maybe it lit a fire under his ass and is going for broke this next fight, but his oldness is no fluke. When a fighter claims he saw opportunities but he couldnt capitalize (like he said against pac) that means his body can no longer follow his mind...AKA being old. What is a bit of interest is IF Shane just lets his hands go. At his age he probably still has a bigger gas tank than Canelo who looks like he tires and slows down significantly the second half of the fight.

And Canelo..decent defense? He showed improvement from his non existant defense about 2 fights ago, but he was back to his old ways of standing stiff with very little head movement and getting tagged by Cintron... If Shane lets his hands go, anything is possible when you're Shane (bias. <__<)....but expect that little twitchy jerky jab he does that is followed by an over hand that he'll try to time......except he wont throw it half the time and just retreat. .... WAR Shane. Maybe he has that one more performance in him. I mean if you think about it, once upon a time this would have been a sheep (Canelo) being thrown to a wolf in Shane. Stylistically Shane would have demolished him, so who knows maybe he's got that one crafty performance in him.

I still cant understand why Shane was so bad vs Pac.
Hre is teh only genuine welter Pac was able to floor. Oscar, Marg, Clottey and even Oscar were all able to stay on their feet and I thought if theres 1 thing Shanbe had its a reliable chin but the 1st time he took a left hand he was on the canvas and hurt. If thats all he is acapable of now this Canelo fight is a mismatch. Shane looked better vs Mora but aged dramatically in the Pac fight and its not as if Pac was looking good either because he had a terrible night too.

Id like Shane to turn back the clock vs Canelo but I lost some respect for him the way he fought his last fight. He has 1 last chance to prove it to the world ( which he probably doesnt deserve ) but if he does the same thing again he has to retire.

Nasim will devise a similar strategy to the Marg fight and from what Ive seen Canelo is a pretty limited, green champ. Its there for Shane but he has to try to win rather than try to survive.

I believe Shane and Clottey took dives.

I really hope (win, lose or draw) Shane at least puts on a performance full of heart & then ride off into retirement.

Naseem will come up with the game plan to beat this kid...but I don't know if Shane can execute it.

Shane is done. He shouldnt even be fighting for a title. Loss -draw -Loss-and he gets a shot at the wbc middle weight title.

Aint **** interesting about this fight. Shane has never looked as good at 154, he's 40 yrs old, hasn't fought in a year, hasn't won a fight in over 3 years and is going to get embaressed. Alvarez should have fought Delvin Rodriguez. Not a big name but would do a lot better then Shane. Mosley is done, idk why this fight got made. Smh.

I think Oscar wants to embarrass Shane Mosley and use him as a stepping stone for his young fighter.

easy fight to predict for some reason mosley thinks canelo is a brawler but in realty canelo is a boxer counter puncher so yes mosely is going to get ktfo worse then baldy did

Maybe I should of been more clear. I see Mosley winning this fight making it his last good performance. What I meant by him losing a close decision was that he'd put on a good performance ala JMM in the last Pacquiao fight, but get screwed on the cards. I think GBP is underestimating Shane and It'll backfire. Canelo is a good fighter but I'm just not too impressed, I can see Shane pulling one last Marg beat down like performance on this kid.
