No I don't, I think his power is overrated. The best thing Canelo is timing more so than Power.

His power got overrated in the Baldo fight. But, against an elite fighter, first of all he hasn't faced any. But, even the fighters below elite he hasn't shown game changing power.

i'd really like to see him get out of those winning gloves

personally i think he can ****. guys clearly respect his power when they get in the ring with him and feel what's coming at them.

the ndou fight is perhaps the most concerning
and of course rhodes and hatton

but they took zero risks defensively and made no real attempt to win the fight


for instance, i'd venture that canelo hits harder than the victor formerly known as wartiz

yes. i'm also a sucker for a kid who actually knows how to put his knuckles on a target as well. and like you said, offensively the kid has very good timing.

he's also a good deal larger than wartiz, who only recently jumped to WW from being a dehydrated jr ww in his mid/early 20's

canelo is still a kid / barely a man (which obviously doesnt make my case for his punching power any stronger,) and he's already a jr mw
