No the 40 million is for the Pacquiao camp, out of that he will have to pay Arum, pay Roach their cut, pay Ariza and everyone else.

This fight will generate around $200 million, Pacquiao and Mayweather will split around $150 million.

So is it fair for Pacquiao to take around 30% while Floyd gets 70%

Especially when Pacquiao is the bigger star and bring in more PPV as shown in their recent PPV events.

Floyd is only saying this because he doesn't want to fight Pacquiao.

Whenever Pacquiao agrees to one of Floyd's demands, Floyd put up another road block.

Roach, Ariza and all those other tards are under Top Rank's payroll. Manny is not his own boss and i think youre confusing Manny's situation for Floyd's situation. All Manny does is fight, get paid off the front end alone and does whatever Bob tells him to do. Manny is getting a 40 million guarantee which he sees for HIMSELF. He never got any ppv money as revealed and Mayweather is the top ppv draw theres no arguing that at this point. Apparently you need to research the word guarantee. It means he gets 40 mil even if the fights makes zero. Has nothing to do with the risk of the fight. Mayweather would be the promoter and take all the risk, manny would make 40 mil no matter what.

Why 50/50? Who else is PAC going to fight and make that amount of money? FMJ makes that no matter who he fights. The pressure is on Manny. He is the vulnerable fighter in this equation. By the latest accounts when Floyd steals Cotto from him and JMM n Peterson are scheduling a fight in April he is left with Bradley for 5mil. If he loses he is history. Risk my as$. Makes zero?? A fighter like Floyd and Pac can generate at least 80M revenue, so a small guarantee means nothing considering that both could at least make 20M-30M in gross after they get their shares of the profit...

80M revenue is least money for fights against everybody else... A fight between the both of them would substantially be more, and is projected to be at least 2.5 M buys which is around 160M ...

You know what mayweather is trying to do and it makes sense. Manny COULD make more than 40 if arum was involved, but since arum has a long history of shortchanging his fighters it certainly isn't guaranteed. With this deal he makes the money no matter what.

Basically it's stick with your promotional and make what you been making or f them, come fight me be your own boss and make 40 mil.

Don't really know if I would take it, but turning down 40 mil is major. Under top rank manny may not see 40 mil on his next couple fights
