Good. I hope they dont reach a deal. No real boxing fan wants to see this pointless rematch.

BTW - What Cotto has to understand is, he's the one who moved up in weight. Not Pac. If he's even entertaining the thought of a rematch, he cant expect Pac to accomodate his comfort zone. Not to mention Cotto was the one who got thrashed the last fight. I'm a fan of both fighters but if Cotto doesnt feel comfortable moving down to fight Pac, then he shouldnt go thru with the fight and instead fight Floyd.

It's not interesting at any weight. Cotto has no chance. None.

What can he possibly do to Floyd to win? He can't back up Floyd and win, and he certainly can't run from Floyd and win.

All Cotto does now is throw a few combos and then back up with that two-foot shuffle. After three rounds, all he will do is backup just as he did when he fought Pac. His face will be a bloody mess and his wife and kids will run out of the arena because they can't stand to see him beaten up anymore.

Really, what will be Cotto's game plan? To come right at Floyd or to run from him? Either way, it's a losing proposition.

weired how Pac was willing to fight Margarito at above 150..but he isnt willing to fight Cotto above 147?..he already beat Cotto at 145..why not give Cotto a fair chance and let Cotto fight at his normal 154 and Pac can come in at any weight he wants..I dont think Cotto has a chance of beating PBF or Pac, but it would be interesting to see the fight with Cotto at a comfortable weight.

LOOK.... Pacquiao doesn't have anything to prove fighting at 150 pounds against Cotto. Cotto fighting at 154, and making weight at 150, means that on Fight Night, Cotto comes in hydrated weighing 165 lbs, and Pacquiao would still be around 145/147 pounds. That's ridiculous. He's already stopped Cotto at a catch weight of 145. He doesn't need to fight him at a heavier weight to prove anything. Pacquiao already fought Margarito who probably weighed 170lbs on fight night. Manny won the fight, but his body took a beating from a guy as big as Margarito. Manny doesn't have to do that again! Let Floyd go with Cotto; he's ducked Cotto his whole career. Floyd is naturally bigger than Pacquiao, is of equal size of Cotto, let Floyd take on a little risk and take on a brawler like Cotto. Eventually if you keep moving up in weight, agreeing to these "catch weights", you will eventually take a beating with a much larger guy. Marquez found that out with Mayweather. Mosley found that out fighting Vernon Forrest (2) and Winky Wright. And Oscar Dela Hoya found that out getting KO'd with a bodyshot, from Bernard Hopkins. Sergio Martinez doesn't have the balls to go up and fight B-hop, no matter how old Hopkins is; he barely beats guys like Barker, his own size. Mayweather is good at calling out much smaller, one dimensional, lead with your chin, type fighters... or ****** fighters named Ortiz.

The Marg thing is lame. Because, that was a try out run. And, as soon after that fight he said that he would never fight at that weight again cuz' I guess he didn't feel comfortable at that weight.

Now Cotto is small JMW. So Pac would be much more comfortable against Cotto at 150-154 than he was against Marg. However, if he fights Cotto at that weight. Then what would the excuse be not to fight Martinez at that weight?
