I'm pretty sure if the email are fake fight hype would expose it soon enough. It's kind of weird how they been quiet through this though.

This is a baseless theory but it could be to see if Bob does something ****** (again) and say's "We will fight him if he accepts 50-50" like he has done in the past but I doubt that's it.

I think Mayweather will address it whether it's true or not within the next few day's.

If this fight is take place on May 5th,and at the MGM Grand,and theres random urine and blood testing there is no question this fight should be a 50-50 split on the money no question!! I understand that Manny said he would accept a smaller purse and all but damn...they they gave in to all those other demands Floyd has to at least give this one. If not the blame falls on him and im a Mayweather fan.

Taking a less share of the purse means that he was "willing" to take a less than equal piece of the pie.

Taking "less than he normally gets" was not what he announced to the public-in fact,when Floyd was supposed to go in the slammer,Pac made the "I will take the smaller share" comment, but now since jailtime is delayed, he wants equal-which one is it? Sounds like posturing to me.

Pac and Floyd make more by taking 75-90% of the purse by fighting lesser fighters.If they fight one another,even if they did Floyd/Oscar ppv numbers (nearly 2.5 million),they would still make less than what they make fighting weaker fighters because the share is 50/50.

According to the reports (which can be either true or false, or in between) he didn't say "THE lesser share" but "A lesser share". They are not the same thing. For your postulation to have merit, it would have to have been factually established that Pacquiao was originally willing to accept a 50-50 division. This is not the case as far as I know.

thats what makes me believe it wasnt fake. proly floyd just talking **** to big up his ego. im not sure he was being honest tho. but if ur gonna email someone, why the **** would u email an espn anchor? smh, the guy has huge lapses in judgement at times.

The email story makes no sense at all. Why would Floyd out of the blue email to say the fight is even more in jeopardy because of purse concerns and him not accepting? Makes absolutely no sense what so ever. Im more inclined to believe those were from someone at top rank working on a pr spin. Its obvious bob is desperate for some positive press at the moment, and you cant forget his shady past...

All that email has accomplished is bringing the pac****** out of hiding...

So you say Floyd is chickening out because Pac went back on his word that he would take less money to make the fight? How does that make sense?
Pac said that he would take less money to make the fight. Now that is this close to be made he says he wont take less money. And ppl still want to blame Floyd.
Whether Manny wants the fight or not, his team clearly doesn't. Therefore the blame still falls on Manny. He can take less money and make the fight for the fans like he said the other week, or he can continue to duck Floyd until he retires.

Maybe, but for that to work Arum would have to say May 5th. Because, if they still are saying 50/50 late May then. We are back to square one.

This fight in not happening. Pac-Cotto II it is. I don't know who Floyd is going to fight. It just sucks all around.

Look, it doesn't matter.....whatever the fight brings in....50% to one guy and 50% to the other guy. What each party decides to do with their 50%, how they divide it up amongst their team or whatever is completely up to them. Who cares about the % of their cut going to their promoter? That's their problem to figure out.....Floyd gets more money in the end but as a result, he has to come out of pocket on the front end- nothings perfect.

If the situation you are in isn't working for you, then chose another situation to be a part of...don't blame the other team.
