this would be very disappointing...... im a fan of both mayweather and pacquiao but if pacquiao really goes forward wit this fight than it really shows his true colors... all that talk that he fights who the people want and gives people what they want... it would be the complete opposite if this fight is made ...

    pacquiao... i am dissapoint

Only reason I'm happy is because I'm Puerto Rican and I'm hopeing that Cotto gets his revenge. I thought he lacked a good corner man in their first fight. I like the guy he has now. If Cotto wins, thatll be so great for him and it would be so funny to see Pac lose right after he DUCKED Floyd the way he did. 1 problem, don't wanna see this fight at 147. Unless Cotto in his heart KNOWS 4 SURE he can make Welterweight with NO PROBLEMS what's so ever.

If the fights at 150 I give cotto a good chance. Cottos trainer is all about the sweet science. On top of that thier confidence is way up after watching manny get outboxed 2 months ago.

I would prefer Bradley for new blood and he is the number one junior welterweight out there. Cotto is a hard sell for hardcore fans, outside of his countrymen, but who knows for casual fans.

                  It's only a good fight at 154 lbs, that's it. It's a C- fight at 147.

The weight limit is a ceiling not a floor...this makes no sense.

Anyways, if the boxing gods would cooperate, ideally we would see Pac-Mayweather in May, with Cotto vs Martinez in June... winners can fight at a catchweight. Imagine if Pac and Cotto win those fights (truthfully, both are underdogs)...but Arum would have a hardon the size of that outdoor stadium he loves so much.

I don't like Cotto coming back down in weight...he has looked good at 154.
If Cotto and Pac do fight, I don't think it will be as exciting as the first fight...Cotto tried to stand and trade with Pacquiao and look how that turned out. Especially after seeing the Marquez clinic, as well as his own success in the first round of their first fight where Cotto was essentially a counterpuncher....I expect Cotto would fight a much more careful fight, and this style might frustrate Manny more than he expects, but I do see Pac winning either way by wearing him down, and luring Cotto to engage (the Filipino rope-a-dope thing he does.. )
