I got no problem with it, at all, Mayweather has stated on many occasions that his main style of fighting (outside of a rhythm) is intended to catch his opponents off-guard.

There is nothing wrong with that at all, not one little thing, everybody knows the rules, protect yourself at all times.

But those 3 incidents were all sucker punches, there is no question.

Fighters need to bring their A game when they get in with Mayweather, the wrong place to "develop" or "learn" is in the ring with Floyd.

Joe, I think where we differ could be in the specific connotations that the term "sucker-punch" evokes.

Some may think that the term indicates a low or de****able act..... whereas I do not, I dont have a problem with it at all.

If you get hit with a sucker punch, it means that you were a sucker, and nothing more. In a professional boxing match, failure to take EVERY opportunity is unjustifiable, Mayweather did exactly what he should have done.

But then again, I have no real problem with Ortiz's strategy at that stage of the fight either, aside from the blatancy of that last butt. That was so ****** it defied logic. Good one Ortiz for doing whatever he had to do in order to give him an edge that may help him crack the Mayweather puzzle or at least throw Floyd off his game.

It's easy to say these things if you have never been in the ring before. I have. If you think he got where he is by not being able to defend, then you are an "oxymoron". All you have to do is watch the Marquez 3 again and you'll see how his defense has vastly improved. It speaks for itself. Look at his face after the fight and look at Marquezes face. He gets hit, but so does all fighters; but to say that is being a bit biased. You probably think that Mayweather is a boxing god and is going to out-class him I bet. Can't wait! He should win based on his natural size advantage and freakishly long arms, BUT that remains to be seen. He's in for a shock if he thinks that Ortiz prepared him for Manny.

More Floyd lies he has fought 42 times and only 2 opponents have taken the test. Why wasn't he worried about testing the first 40 fights of his career? Did he have something to hide? Did he only start screaming testing once he stop taking the PEDs??? The commision's doctors and lawyers know more about testing policy than some unedcuated, ignorant, felons from Grand Rapids, MI. Second, Floyd's view of the Pac vs. Marquez fight is nuts because the volume helps Marquez due to the pro Mexican crowd. You would have also turned down compubox and your eyesight because Manny landed more and threw more and outlanded Marquez in 8 of the 12 rounds by compubox which explains the 116-112 score from the one judge. Marquez punches were prettier but he simply just got outworked and most of the punches landed on him were when he was running backwards or in a defensive posture so there weren't as pretty but a landed punch is a landed punch pretty or not. Mayweather is a (Con Artist). Ortiz was a quitter who beat Berto and my question was who has Berto beat??? Berto biggest win before Ortiz was Luis Collazo and this quitter beats him and Floyd marketed Ortiz as if he was a good opponent as if we forgot he quitted just a couple of fights earlier... Well, I didn't buy it and that's why I wasn't robbed of $70 like the idiots that bought that crap. Hey. I totally agree with you man. People are so ******! I argue with my Dad about how he raised me to dislike people like Mayweather but he loves him! Manny is humble and does his talking in the ring. He doesn't have to disrespect his opponents to do so. Furthermore, if, when they fight, Manny is going to outpoint him I believe. He's a much smarter fighter then he gets credit for. What makes Mayweather think he is just some "pressure fighter"? LoL. His defense is good and his movement will make Money frustrated. He's not going to try and K.O. him. He's going to out activity him like he does everyone else.

Truth be told, he shouldn't win the fight because Mayweather is almost twice his size, and has freakishly long arms, but I believe that Manny has faced more challenges in the ring and is more special than him. We shall see though.
