He's a much smarter fighter then he gets credit for. What makes Mayweather think he is just some "pressure fighter"? LoL. His defense is good and his movement will make Money frustrated. He's not going to try and K.O. him. He's going to out activity him like he does everyone else.

Truth be told, he shouldn't win the fight because Mayweather is almost twice his size, and has freakishly long arms, but I believe that Manny has faced more challenges in the ring and is more special than him. We shall see though.
Manny and defense, that's an oxymoron. Manny's defense is his offense

lead how can it be a sucker punch if its legal? gatti was complaining to the ref and got kd, shane was trying to touch gloves and talk and floyd punched him and said lets fight. all were legal. to call it a sucker punch implies some kind of malfeasant play on floyds behalf. the old timers would have punched the dude too. in the ring its time to fight not talk, hug and touch gloves. protect yourself at all times.

It appears to me that Team Pacquiao either.....

1.) have no faith at all that Manny can beat Mayweather

2.) have no faith at all that Manny can pass the OSDT's when preparing normally for an opponent

I am not sure which, but what I do know is this..... since December 2009, when it became plainly obvious that Mayweather would NEVER drop his testing requirements, Team Pacquiao have shown no interest whatsoever in fighting Mayweather.

They seem resigned to the fact that they will not consider fighting Mayweather until Manny's very last fight.

            Floyd beats Manny

I'm a fan of Floyd he has the skills and the defence to take Manny apart.
My personal opinion is that if you watch pacquiaos last 2 fights (Moseley & Marquez) he looks like a completely different fighter, he looks slower and his punches look a LOT lighter. I obviously don't know if he ever used PEDs or not but I sure as hell don't think he is using them now.

Floyd is an arrogant and disrespectful prick! I hate the mo-fo but he's right. Ortiz should've had his hands up when Cortez waived to fight. The document is ready for Pacquiao to signed, if he needs a pen, i have one.

                Could you hit him?

"oxymoron" means silly. I am far from silly kid. Check my stats and you'll see that I have earned my position thus far on this site. Anyway, could you hit Manny with anything? It's easy to say these things if you have never been in the ring before. I have. If you think he got where he is by not being able to defend, then you are an "oxymoron". All you have to do is watch the Marquez 3 again and you'll see how his defense has vastly improved. It speaks for itself. Look at his face after the fight and look at Marquezes face. He gets hit, but so does all fighters; but to say that is being a bit biased. You probably think that Mayweather is a boxing god and is going to out-class him I bet. Can't wait! He should win based on his natural size advantage and freakishly long arms, BUT that remains to be seen. He's in for a shock if he thinks that Ortiz prepared him for Manny.

                  Exactly, good post.....

And GOD-FR33 needs to smarten up as well.

" oh but, Manny is so humble "

Who gives a ****, stop being so silly, who cares about that rubbish.

This is boxing, if you simply have to SUPPORT a guy who is " humble " (yea fkn right, get real, the guy's house is LITTERED with pictures of himself, NO, not of him and Jinkee, of Pac himself)..... then go watch a knitting competition or something.

Because Mayweather KNEW that those guys were not looking

I got no problem with it, at all, Mayweather has stated on many occasions that his main style of fighting (outside of a rhythm) is intended to catch his opponents off-guard.

There is nothing wrong with that at all, not one little thing, everybody knows the rules, protect yourself at all times.

But those 3 incidents were all sucker punches, there is no question.

Fighters need to bring their A game when they get in with Mayweather, the wrong place to "develop" or "learn" is in the ring with Floyd.

I agree man, I believe that Manny was clean for Marquez III.

And the immediate reaction from Manny and his team after that fight was bizarre..... they ALL suggested that a rematch should take place, Arum, Roach, and Manny himself.

Now, why the *** would they do that? FACT: Manny will never beat Marquez decisively, because he cannot, and he will never look good fighting him, so WHY WOULD THEY POSSIBLY BE INTERESTED IN A REMATCH?

What could possibly change that would enable Manny to perform better ?

Personally, I believe that Manny is now training " normally " to prepare for Mayweather and the OSDT's. The Marquez fight was a setup, JMM was supposed to be seriously disadvantaged and out of his depth..... so did the fact that Marquez beat Manny prompt Pac to think..... "damn, I gotta get this guy off my back, thats it, I am going back to what works"?

Otherwise, why would they consider rematching Marquez again ?

What could possibly change that would enable Manny to look good ?
