If so, TR would have matched him against Zahir Raheem after Morales. If so, then we wouldn't have had to hear how Dimirty Salita was too tall at 5'11 but Marg wasn't at the same height.

Sorry madsweeney but TR knew he hadn't improved to the degree they were saying.
Why would they move him up to 135 to fight Raheem, he had just moved to 130 to fight Morales and he had the rematch signed already?!? Ok after the Morales fight...oh wait Zahir lost his next match, less than 6 months after beating Morales. Now, why WOULD TR push that fight?

Are you thinking Yuri Foreman, that was "the excuse" for him? Don't ever remember hearing Salita being a considered opponent. Even still, yea it was dumb that they didn't make that fight but c'mon, Foreman took an arrow to the knee.

indeed there are those with double standards. but it goes both ways. both manny AND floyd have fans with double standards. but it is foolish to automatically assume that a person posting is one of them.

next time, don't assume. it helps prevent foot in mouth disease.
I didn't assume YOU where any fan. I was pointing out the fact that people in general credit Pac for what Floyd has done in the past and was bashed for. YOU just did that.

if there is any fighter who deserves recognition, its him. but he's jeopardizing his own success by hoping for that one-time lotto fight that will never come.
Martinez is blowing his own opportunity. He needs to get in there with the big names of his division (Chavez Jr, Canelo hell even Abraham) or challenge some of the smaller guys @ 168. He's not going to get famous by calling out Floyd/Pac.

He has and by calling out the fighters that everyone knows is why he is doing it. At the end of the day I think he knows he won't get the Pac/Mayweather fights which is why he is trying for the Chavez jr fight. Yet we all know Bob won't allow that either.

                Thanks I am thinking Foreman.

Look, we agree there was no need to fight Raheem. I just think TR knew stylistically it made for a bad match for manny as his whole "aura" was he can beat up bigger guys.

My point is fighting clottey, marg, cotto, hatton, diaz is not a good gauge on how one would do vs a JMM or a mosley.

Pac needs 6 months for his cut that nearly killed him. Its so bad of a cut that Bob won't allow him to fight Mayweather may 5th EVEN if Pac is willing to take less money because Floyd is the REAL cash cow and Pac just needs money.

                    reread your own post.

you obviously referred to me when you made your rant. it wasn't a general statement because your post was directed at me obviously. However, for some reason, you seem to willfully forget such a fact.

anyway, if you refuse to acknowledge your own post, its up to you.
