    Andre Ward is very boring

This is not meant to knock Andre Ward, he has a very effective style.

Its just, lets be honest, this guy has ZERO punching power. Ward's entire game is 12round, holding, clinching, potshotting, and dirty infighting.

    Thats this guy's whole style.

Any1 else find Ward's style to be very boring, and unentertaining?

Like Ward will never be popular because his fights are not fun. He is hands down the most boring fighter in boxing.

Even Mayweather's fights are more entertaining than Wards.

Depends how he fights, but against elite fighters, he'll do whatever it takes to win, even if it means fighting ugly. I went to the Green fight and almost instantly forgot about the fight because of how boring it was.

Clinching, holding, featherfisting and mostly the spoiling will do that

Yep, I mean he's a good boxer with good skills. He's fast, has some good accuracy and is very slick, but the main problem with Ward is the fact that he has no punching power and he clinches a lot. I think the guy as a boxer is really good, but as "business" he's not that good because he's not very entertaining and doesn't has a fan friendly style.

          Kind of, but he's good.

If he wasn't so obsessed with God and had a slightly more fan friendly style I'd be a fan for sure.

He has a safety-first approach and seems to be content to always fight just to win decisions and not go for the KO.

-Bute KOed Miranda, but Ward went the distance.
-Johnson stopped Green, but Ward went the distance.

i think that just because ward doesn't have power doesn't mean he isn't an interesting fighter. i love to see him fight as he is very well schooled and knows the nuances of the sport. i only wish that some of the commentators were smart enough to pick up on what hes doing and relay it to the audience.

i think ward could outbox alot of his opponents from the outside but he often goes inside because he knows thats the best way to tire out his opponents, break them down and then go for the KO.

he only goes inside as hes looking for the KO so i think that shows he does try and put on a good show.

i think ward knows he needs to look for the KO if he wants the recognition and 'super-star' status but hes smart. he won't take any silly risks looking to please fans.

Wladimir has 5 KOs in his past 6 fights, 3 against opponents who were never stopped before like Chambers, Thompson and Chagaev.

Ward has ZERO KOs in his past 6 fights. Miranda was KOed by Bute, and Green was stopped by Johnson.
