Andre Ward is very boring

100% agree. Ward is effective but not very entertaining. On top of that, he's not the **** talking type so he's boring inside AND outside of the ring. His 0 is going to be very important to his career, even more than Floyd's i believe.

What I appreciated from Ward last night over Floyd is that he didnt do just enough to win! As stated in my last post, he was well ahead going into the 12th and still fought as if it was anyones fight to win. He could have played it safe and avoided Froch for the last 3 minutes but didnt. He chose to mix it up and fight till the bell rang!

kinda see what you mean...though Froch's style was borish last night. He throws punches like he's in a schoolyard fight...wide hooks, NO straight punches, unless you count the jab.

Ward does nothing great and everything pretty good. He'll go long segments of rounds w/o throwing any punches. He's OK, tough guy with a good head on his shoulders.

Even Mayweather's fights are more entertaining than Wards.

I think the majority of people complaining about how boring Ward is are bored with him winning. And they don't like the fact that he's winning. Especially when he's beating some of their favorite fighters.

The " feather fist" nonsense is just ******. Very ******. If Ward was so feather fisted Froch would have never backed up from those punches and would have walked right through them. It was obvious a lot of the punches stung Froch. But every time Ward wins I expect to see more of the same comments because that's what happens when there is nothing else to say.


If he's boring don't watch him. It is an option.

Anytime its not a rockem sockem robot slug fest you casual fans call it boring. Andres style is very effective. The way he shuts down his opponants primary weapons, then disarms them, confuse them, and frustrate them. To me its a beautiful thing to see such a thing happen in 12 rounds or less.
