Khan is a b!tch ass. Bet that the rematch goes the same way. This is a prime example of how these promoters spoil this generation of fighters. Punk ass's act like they can't and are not supposed to lose. Ref warned him numerous times and it is going to be reviewed as well as Khan holding and pushing Peterson's head down. Lamont already said he would give Khan a rematch and their still doing all this extra. Tell you one thing and that is Khan is not beating Bradley and definitely for sure not Mayweather.

So are you telling me that normal referees allow fighters to use there head to get inside? Its either get headbutted or push there head down. So many outside fighters use that to stop from being bullied on the inside. Personally even with the two points deducted i think khan knocked peterson down twice. So in theory Khan should have got the UD. I think the boxing commisions need to have more set guidelines about how to score a fight. To have a judge score a fight that differently to the other two is ridiculous. And as for Khan hitting like a girl, do you know of any fighter that has stopped Peterson. He has got a very good chin. Ortiz who hits with monstorous power couldnt stop Peterson. I dont feel too annoyed as it was a close fight and will Peterson's upbringing and hard way of life its nice to see someone ordinary become a world champion. He wont be champion for long as Khan and Freddy will come up with something concrete for the rematch.

I've seen Kahn train and he has no real juice on his punches. Fast yes, straight down the middle yes, but no fire. If you look at the fight again and the replays...Peterson was not down the first time he clearly tripped up on the refs foot. As for coming in with his head? Good trainers train their fighters to keep their chins down and Peterson's style is forward motion also there was never ever a clear view or indication of him looking to head butt Kahn. All BS excuses and very typical of people in denial. You mention theory? The sport of boxing knows no "Theory" it's simply win or lose fair and square by points or KO. I saw no problem with the Ref or Home Town advantage to which i always found to be another excuse. Simply put Kahn is not that great a fighter (way overrated and HYPE) and anyone who does not believe that simply does not want to believe it and NOBODY will convince them otherwise. I get that!
He simply does not deserve a rematch because he was outmatched....period! If he does make a really ****** mistake by going up in weight he might as well just hang up his gloves because he's done. As for him Fighting Floyd? Thats the laugh of the Century. A little kid could call that one in.

Last, to be honest and clear: I was not impressed with Peterson all that much either and I LOVE Freddy Roach as a trainer and as a person but in my opinion he should focus on Manny and lose Kahn. Kahn lost the fight fair and square and Kahn isn't going anywhere at 140 or up in weight either.
Amir Kahn is the Justin Bieber of boxing. He now has a credibility issue to overcome and thats going to take way to much effort on any trainers part.

Win or lose if I was Peterson I would be looking to get a rematch from bradley to unify bradley doesn't seem to be the same high pace fighter he was a few yrs ago so peterson could possibly pull that off now and become unified champ of the world even if only for a little while he could make plenty of money while doing so while making khan wait khan will always want a rematch titles or not

Great fight...truly great. I was frustrated by the ref interfering verbally in the fight every time they started to get tied up. At least let them work it out a bit instead of yelling and confusing the fighters...unless you're giving clear commands or ordering a break, shut up!

Anyway, if I was Peterson, I'd tell Khan to go fight Prescott and Bradley first, then come back. Although, Peterson fighting in either Las Vegas or England could prob make a million or more dollars for Lamont in an immediate rematch. But anyway, yeah, let Khan do the dirty work of cleaning out the rest of the division that way when they meet again in a year or so, it'll be an even bigger fight, but risky for Lamont to put off the big payday for the rematch.

I would love to see a rematch though, but grow weary of seeing Khan running away in the ring. If I was Peterson, I'd negotiate the smallest ring possible in the next fight.
