looks like another delay for sure. Inactivity can only hurt fighters. What a shame.

I would not be surprised to see a purse bid for Stiverne - Areola or even the WBC ordering Stiverne to fight Wilder instead.

dont blame stiverne one bit. he shouldnt even be having to face arreola again,,the first fight was convincing enough

I think stiverne should have been awarded the title being he was mandatory for vit after dominating arreola

I can't agree on that easily: Arreola lost that fight and lost some ranking for it. Then he worked really hard and climbed back to 2nd position. This is not the Arreola that lost we are talking about, it is the Arreola who came back.

Just giving the title to the guy who won an eliminator is not the right thing to do. A vacant title should be given to the winner of the top 2 contenders: For some reason those are now the same two guys who fought an eliminator earlier.

That is fine with me - although I would prefer to see Stiverne fighting (and probably crushing) Wilder. But basiclly - can they just get their **** together and make this fight?

David Price excited ahead of Pala challenge

British heavyweight David Price has revealed that he is confident of "getting the job done" against Ondrej Pala later this month.

Pala was recently stopped by Dereck Chisora inside three rounds, but despite the Czech fighter's defeat, Price is expecting a tough test in Berlin on March 29.

                    Commenting, Price said:

"This is exactly the type of fight that I need. Pala is a guy who isn't afraid to come forward and trade. We saw this when he fought Chisora.

"Although Dereck got the stoppage, Pala was holding his own and I don't think he was ever in any real trouble, he just got spun into the corner and the fight was waved off.

"Now it's my turn. I'm in great shape. Everything has been going really well in the gym. I am looking forward to getting in there and exchanging blows with this guy. I am confident that on March 29, I am going to get the job done"
