The Adamek we saw against USS 2 was so lethargic,he really didn't open up until the final twenty seconds of each round, bar the final round if I recall correctly.im rooting for Adamek, but that said BostonGuy makes a good point about wanting to see fresh challengers stepping up by beating the old guard,to establish themselves.

I really don't wanna see a Wlad Adamek match up,it's just a horrible thought.knowing Goral was earning a huge payday wouldn't even soften the thought of it.

Lets say Glazkov convincingly out works and beats up Tomasz for 12 rounds(I don't see a stoppage) I wouldn't be petitioning for a Wlad Glazkov fight but it throws him right into the mix with the IBF and also the WBC I believe, presuming it is sanctioned by both !

Charr versus Adamek or Gkazkov, three highly ranked WBC guys, either would be pleasing from a personal point if view.

Charr self promotes right ?which allows him to fight anyone, anywhere.unrestricting his matching up against certain fighters aligned with certain channels.

I'm hoping Glazkov beats Adamek decisively so that we can get some new talent on the hw scene
I can see this being a tight affair,Glazkov landing the heavier shots, maybe even flooring Tomasz.slightly torn between who I want to win.I like both guys, but I'm a massive Adamek fan.i would rather he called it a day now though.

Chambers looks in very good shape. hopefully he wont loose his speed because that was his advantage at heavyweight

Simon Barclay To Spar With Wladimir Klitschko

Simon Barclay will go in the ring with unified world heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko before he has thrown a professional punch.

The double ABA Champion from Corby, signed by promoter Frank Warren last month, will find out the date of his pro-debut shortly, but will get some valuable ring experience sparring with the heavyweight great.

Klitschko is preparing for his WBA Super/WBO/IBF World title defence against Alex Leapai on April 26 in Oberhausen, Germany, and Barclay will head out to his Austrian training camp to assist.

Barclay, 24, was stunned when he found out he was going to share a ring with Ukrainian legend.

              Commenting, Barclay said:

"I really couldn't believe what I was hearing when I had the call".

"My manager called me up and asked if I would be okay to go out to Austria and then he paused before saying that I would be sparring with Wladimir Klitschko.

"It is going to be a brilliant experience for me and I just can't wait to get out there.

"The training camp is state of the art and it will be great to see that in use.

"I am going out for the last week of his preparations.

"I think I was wanted out there for longer but I am hoping to make my debut as well so I am going out in the middle of April.

"His opponent is 6ft 1in and I am just a bit taller and it will be mainly speed work that goes on, it won't be heavy sparring."

Wonder what the hell Avila was saying as Joshua towered over him at the head-to-head....maybe a prayer or that reminding Anthony that he had got a wife and kids?

AJ surely only needs two or three more of these fights before moving on to some serious business.
