    Fat Dan Says Fight Not Close

    "Dan the man, I keep hearing comment from Pacquiao saying things are being discussed from him fighting Mayweather and Mayweather obviously wants to fight now, how close is this to actually happening? Have you heard anything to lead you to believe this wll happen once and for all?

    Whether it is or isnt, do you really believe he would be in the know? It's just his opinion.

    His inside info is as good as any forum poster here.

    You think arum or anyone else would say to Dan, hey we are at this stage of negotiations, we got this much to do?

      Every solid writer has some sources. Im not a big fan of his and he's obviously not right all the time but you are starting to hear more & more writers saying that its further off then others are making it seem. Hopefully that isnt true

            I can believe that a deal between the two aren't really close.
            Surprised Mayweather isn't blasting Arum's camp over this though if it's not really close. He might have, but surprised the *****s aren't erupting on the threads the *******s are making

                Here's my way of thinking ... Manny is now a Congressman, doesn't it diminish his image, if he can't even dictate who he's gonna fight and when????

                I mean WTF!!!!, here is Manny being strung along like a puppet by a BOXING PROMOTER, and not only is Arum working the strings like a master puppeteer, he's also robbing Manny blind.

                What kind of Congressman would accept that kind of manipulation by a Boxing Promoter. No wonder guys in the Philippine's want him out, he is quite possibly the worst representative they can have.

                Manny should man up, and straight up tell Arum, that either make the Floyd fight happen, or I will retire. Arum would have to do something then because I'm certain he doesn't have a contract that forbids Manny from retiring.

                Freakin end the soap opera and make the DAMN FIGHT.

                    Dan is very close with TR matchmaker Goodman or Goldman. They take seder together, the frequently hang out. Dan is more in the know on TR stuff than most writers.
