Don't you know that after the Valuev fight Ruiz retired, and only came out of retirement a few months before he fought Haye, he 'd had only one fight in 2 years, against a 19-10 guy, the fight before Haye. And Haye should have been DQ 5-6 times over for all the rabbit punching and foul fighting. All the English ref did was take a point. As for Barrett, he was only a 3rd rate fighter, very game but really not much good, and he was on his last couple of fights hefore retirement, (which he did, but almost imediately returned, to fight Tua) Both he and Ruiz were almost 40, and well worn. Still, they up up a good fight, but against anyone but Haye they'd have been mangled.

Face it and be realistic, Haye has NO heavyweight record at all, he got the Klitschko fight on carefully orchestrates BLUFF. And he's getting this one because his "retirement was another bluff, as any dimwit could see, just to entice another big payday. If VK wasn't such an old school gentleman (as all his actions, speech, and behaviour has amply shown) he would have shrugged off Hayes egregious insults knowing that he's in a business where the prime actors are far less educated and intelligent than he, and let it go.

But with HIM..... Haye's offensiveness went too far. So he's willing to give him the opportunity fo make another reasonably big payday, just to get his hands (fisdt) on him. Haye could still act out his nonsense to try for more money, and ther's no guarantee that the fight will actually take place.

Sosnowski is a big, solid heavyweight with a very good chin. VK showed, before the fight, that he both liked and had respect for him, and allowed him to finish the fight.

Besides, Haye wouldn't be able to absorb a tenth of the puishment Sosnowski did.

They're not really showing "respect" as such, they are just conducting themselves in the usual gentlemanly manner as always. They were well brought up, and are very civilized.

I don't even want to see this fight at least the Wlad fight had drama because there was a 0.0000000000000000000092734% chance Haye could win . This fight is a joke, Vitali will toy with that garbage bum and annihilate him. This fight will look like charlie zelenoff vs. sugar ray robinson

We have lots of humourists on this site, but you are better than most. I suppose you got that picture of the "toe", when Haye was walking around in toeless sandals so that he could show everybody his battle wound. Did it ever occur to you that a thr fracture of a very tiny bone-let's assume for a moment the fiction that it happened- would recover well within three weeks?? It's the larger bones which take some time. Didn't he bail out from the first fight arranged with Klitschko on much shorter notice than 3 weeks, with not even a medical cert???
he did't even produce one for this last fight. Why not?? Because he'd have to produce an XRay also.

I heard that most people, when they saw him coming would risk being knocked down by traffic just to get across the road before he could show them.

Haye better put it all on the line this time. He must know that the public won't accept another cautious performance.

You mean allowed him to last long enough to get knocked out cold in the tenth right?
