To single out Cintron as an example of Manny not being successful with anyone other than tall fighters is not fair. After all Cintron is 5'11", not exactly short for a welterweight and we all know Cintron's problems were mental, he just does not have a fighters make-up.

I did not "single out Steward" with Cintrón. What I said that even with Cintrón having similar gifts like Wlad and Hearns (being a tall fighter for their division and having good power), he still couldn't get the nutcase to beat Margo. In fact, he lost earlier.

Best Cotto I have ever seen was Cotto pre-Margo. Both skill-wise and tactic wise.

Also, in this 24/7 I have seen Cotto less interested in "being happy". That does make me angry about Cotto (his interest in having a blast while training). Stop f'n thinking about playing dominoes and start thinking more like Hagler: this is WAR, it's not about hangin' out and having a good time. You can have a good time AFTER the fight.

This guy has trained champions before. It also seems like Cotto and his camp thought this one through. If he can't get through 12 rounds without gassing, it's not going to matter who his trainer is.
