Yes boxing is clearly a mental sport. There is no such thing as "physical" contact in boxing or natural skills and reflexs, its all "mental" by your theory. Give it up dude, margarito has never been stopped before, even if you were right and margarito mental state did cause him to lose the fight, he would have never been stopped or tkoed while losing, mosley just beat the snot out of him because he was the better fighter on that night, point blank period no excuses.

Mosley was the better man that night nobody is saying he wasnt, but he was better mentally, Physically and executed his game plan. Margarito lost fair and square no doubt but there are factors that contribute to every loss a fighter has, even Miguels loss to Margarito which his factors were simply having the wrong fight plan.

Boxing is a mental sport, and I dont know how anybody could mentally keep themselves together after something going down like that in the dressing room your entire career right then and there is on the line, and Margarito still states he is innocent, and I believe him, like I said he may have thought he was going to jail after the fight... and if so that has to have had some sort of effect on him mentally.

Its simple for me. I believe Marg chjeated the first fight. I don't believe his punches will have the same effect on Miguel. I think Cotto boxes Marg's ass off then finishes him off rd 10 or 11.

The good news for people who think the way you do is Margaritos eye, so lets Say Cotto does break that orbital bone and the fight is then stopped as a result of that, you will easily say yup this is proof that he cheated in fight 1.

Thats not an excuse there, by any means, thats your proof that he cheated.

lets just say this round 1 bell rings cotto breaks the eye socket in the 1st min Dr lets it go on til the end of the round, Miguel goes in amateur mode to pile up Points quick pitty pat shots to score.
