It took Marquez's guts to make Pac look like human. Something that Floyd would never have the balls to do. I can't even believe they're still here as if Pac just fought Floyd and not Marquez.

The quote in the article suggests Floyd didn't mention Pacquiao's name when addressing a certain question to make the fight happen. It only says, "referring to Pacquiao," which the author put in Floyd's mouth. Do not put words in Floyd's mouth, because he didn't say that. Even Floyd said not to do that. Ask Floyd the next day if he said he'll sign to fight Pacquiao on May 5th, and he'll say that was wrong.
Floyd in the video confirmed he speaks in legalese. He'll say one thing with Pacquiao in one sentence that will imply he is talking about fighting him or something else in the next (gets *****s every time). The interviewer fails to include the word "Pacquiao" when asking somewhat direct questions to supposedly make Pacquiao-Mayweather. If Mayweather signs today, "he" (could be any fighter) better sign tomorrow. Too bad Mayweather won't do it against Pacquiao... because he didn't say that

As for ducking, a boxer only fights 1-4 times a year. When you have a name, it is about who you can fight for the most money, not who is the best fighter you can fight; unless the best fighter is worth the most money. People need to realize that when you spend your life training for the Olympics and making a name for yourself in the sport, you don't feel like handing out opportunities for everyone people think can beat you. You let them build their own name, then take the fight. In the mean time, you take high paying fights that boosts your name even more. When you are in boxing, you are your own business.
