Logic dictates that Mayweather should beat Pacquiao being that he is the best counter-puncher and defensive fighter in the world. Trouble is many thought that De La Hoya would beat Pacquiao, that Margarito would beat Mosley... You just don't know...

If Pac would have figured out the style of Marquez and put a beating on him then I would be thinking Pac had some sort of chance to be competitive but after what Marquez did. Pac will get beat down. The fact that Manny cannot change up mentally and technically in the ring already shows me that he cannot beat Floyd who adjusts on the fly. If a fighter cannot out think Floyd in the ring, then they are not going to beat him.

Pacquiao has sold as many PPV as Floyd. Look at the total numbers.

Floyd sells more per pay per view, but he doesn't fight as much. His problem on that, but also just fighting rarely also attracts more buyers.

Anyway 50/50 gets the fight done. Both had a controversial win.
