Good for you Floyd! This is no roadblock... it's the TRUTH!! When he fights he sells more than anyone in the sport by far. Bob Arum has tried for the last 2+ years to convince people that Pacquiao is a bigger draw or a financial equal. Bob knows he is lying. More people WANT to see Mayweather lose, than Pacquiao win.... and THAT my friends is why Floyd is the A-side.
Now it seems that the negotiations might finally get serious because JMM set his requirements for a 4th fight in Mexico with Mexican Commission, and they don't seem to be requirements that TOP RANK is going to like very much. Pacquiao's stock fell dramatically in his last fight, and he looked very vulnerable which won't help his case in negotiations. I can see a scenario play out where TOP RANK tries to get tough in negotiating with Floyd, and Floyd says "F^ck You, good luck beating Marquez in Mexico!" I think that factor has TOP RANK against the wall and they will have to take that walk of shame and give in to Mayweather.
Pacquiao has Mayweather or Marquez.. That's it.
Floyd can fight Maidana, Berto or rematch Ortiz in February.. Then he can have a quick turnaround and fight Khan, Pacquiao, Canelo or Morales on May 5th!
Let the games begin!!! Hardcore Fight fans... looks like we are finally getting our fight!!!

Floyd can make the offer of 50/50 to satisfy his ego. He's ducking if he wants more than that, especially when his PPV and gate sales are declining compared to Pacquiao. The numbers don't lie. And Floyd still didn't say he wants to fight Pacquiao.

you seem to have a short memory !!! you claim mayweather is the bigger draw but he couldnt even sell out his last fight with ortiz .... but guess what manny EASILY sould out his fight with marquez!!!!! and he did it welll before the fight date !!!!!!!! you claim that maywethaer is the bigger draw buy his ppv numbers were sub 1mill buys ... guess what mannys numbers were at least 1.2 !!!!! AT LEAST !!!!!! ppv numbers and gate revenue are in mannys favor the fight is 50/50 or nothing even the most die hard ***** will agree to that !!!!

This whole "ducking" theme is really getting old. These are two world class fighters, multiple weight world champions. Manny is not afraid of Floyd, and Floyd is not afraid of Manny. Floyd Mayweather has been sparring world champions, since he was 17 years old. Do you really think he is afraid of another welterweight? Bob Arum is the problem. Arum does not now, nor has ever wanted to see this fight happen. They need to get this thing in the ring soon, and this crazy debate.
With that being said, Floyd will stop Manny before the 10th round. Just my opinion, not taking anything away from Manny because anything can happen.

1. Financially, Pacquiao does not compare at the gate or PPV. Floyd averages more PPV buys and gate revenue per fight than Pacquiao by galaxies. Pacquiao has not once threatened to break any sort of PPV record. So you're right, "THE NUMBERS DON'T LIE" Mayweather is by miles the biggest draw in boxing statistically and by the mere fact that more people will pay to watch Floyd lose than Pacquiao win.
2. In his comeback fight Floyd fought Victor Ortiz and made the 2nd highest gate EVER for non-heavys and near 1.3 mill PPV buys. This was with VICTOR ORTIZ! Who had never fought on PPV before and was unknown to the casual fan before "the 2-piece". Pacquiao fought his last fight against MARQUEZ, a well known PPV commodity in the sport with a phenomenal Mexican fanbase comparable to his own. NOBODY knew who Ortiz was until he fought Floyd Mayweather. And Floyd still has better numbers. People tuned in to watch the return of Floyd Mayweather. He made these numbers essentially by himself.
3. As we all know Floyd released a statement saying he wants to fight Pacquiao May 5th. WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN?!?!?!
4. Top Rank was saying they wanted a 4th fight with Marquez. You didn't seem to say anything about that....

We need to flood all the boxing blogs and websites that we want "Pacman vs Floyd" next & Pacquiao vs Marquez 4 later. So Bob Arum and Mayweather better make the fight or else a lot of boxing fans will boycott your pay per views. This will be the downfall of Bob Arum if he will not try to negotiate for May 5 against Mayweather. Boxing will be forever on the decline we need this kind of fight to relive the glory of boxing.
