Ive seen this thread a million times and even posted in it but this is the 1st time I read what the Ghost said and I like the kid even that much more. Really has his head on his shoulders and gives good responses. I was picking him to beat Maidana. Im ok with Floyd fighting him as a tuneup in Feb but probably not other then that. If not Floyd, I would love to see him against anyone though, Id rather see his next fight at 140 1st to see how he adjust

Guerrero-no fanbase, not a big moneymaker, not particularly entertaining in a boxing match, no real credentials to merit a fight against Mayweather, above his weight class...
I just don't see it. Mayweather wouldn't get a lot of credit for beating him. I mean, it's the same scenario as the JMM fight, but...I just don't see it. JMM>Guerrero
This fight isn't intriguing in the least. I'd rather watch a puncher go up against Mayweather. It makes for a more interesting match-up. Aside from that, the only fights that warrant interest are:
Mayweather-Pacquiao (huge credit, big money)
Mayweather-Khan (live underdog, big money)
Mayweather-Martinez (dangerous fight, not much money)

So without rescheduling Maidana, the "Ghost" (for disappearing) Guerrero goes in another direction. They are all afraid to fight Marcos Maidana.
*** off idiot, you are just a hater, end of story.
Thats right kid, Mayweather ducked Maidana.
Answer this question.....
If Ortiz and Maidana fought a rematch - at 147 obviously, because Vic cant make 140 no more..... who would win?

As far as styles go I think Guerrero is a great match up for Floyd. I doubt it will happen though because of the lack of money it would generate in comparison to Floyd's previous fights. Don't fool yourselves into thinking he's too small. He can reach him with his jab, and he moves well. That's more than anyone else he's fought lately. Hell he's a quality counter puncher as well. For those of you who say that he's a nobody, you better educate yourselves on what your watching. I think he might be biting off a little more than he can chew right now, but who knows I think it would be a competitive fight for sure just based on the styles and skill level of Guerrero. I'm sure Floyd's camp knows it too, that's why it will never happen. High risk, low reward. I would give Floyd major respect for choosing to fight him though.Last edited by slick23; 11-21-2011, 08:07 PM.

I like chino, but he is over-rated unfortunately.
Until he had a brain-fart, the green Ortiz that was killing himself to make 140 was spanking Maidana like he was his red-headed stepson.
Ortiz is a MUCH better fighter at welter, and would kill Maidana in a rematch.
Guerrero vs Maidana could answer some questions.
I would favor the ghost, so long as he can take his speed/power to 140.

Apparently he touched Pac up in sparring one day, and now Manny wont look him in the eye
Mind you, that means nothing, it was only Pac, and Guerrero aint 38 yet

I cant stand this Bum who has he fought? Salido Went toe to toe with him and got his ass whooped and taken to school, Then he tried to play it off and say he cheated which was bs , because additional tests confirmed Salido was Clean. Who even told this Guerrero he can beat Mayweather? Gtfo ******ass ****y mofo, if anything he should be more Humble because of his wifes situation but yet Started being an ******* all of a sudden , I want somebody to wipe the floor with this guy
