Ive seen this thread a million times and even posted in it but this is the 1st time I read what the Ghost said and I like the kid even that much more. Really has his head on his shoulders and gives good responses. I was picking him to beat Maidana. Im ok with Floyd fighting him as a tuneup in Feb but probably not other then that. If not Floyd, I would love to see him against anyone though, Id rather see his next fight at 140 1st to see how he adjust

Guerrero-no fanbase, not a big moneymaker, not particularly entertaining in a boxing match, no real credentials to merit a fight against Mayweather, above his weight class...

I just don't see it. Mayweather wouldn't get a lot of credit for beating him. I mean, it's the same scenario as the JMM fight, but...I just don't see it. JMM>Guerrero

This fight isn't intriguing in the least. I'd rather watch a puncher go up against Mayweather. It makes for a more interesting match-up. Aside from that, the only fights that warrant interest are:

Mayweather-Pacquiao (huge credit, big money)
Mayweather-Khan (live underdog, big money)
Mayweather-Martinez (dangerous fight, not much money)

Marquez won nearly every round and stopped Katsidis... Marquez fought Katsidis first and Guerrero got his left overs. And I don't see how Guerrero going the distance with Katsidis is more impressive then Marquez outboxing Katsidis and stopping Katsidis...

Don't blame him!!! Mayweather could have fought Maidana after Maidana destroyed Ortiz, but Floyd chose Ortiz anyways, rather take a risk with Maidana. Khan won't give Maidana a rematch after most felt Maidana beat Khan the first time around. Now Guerrero, got scared as a fight with Maidana drew closer, and claimed tore rotator cuff, cancelling the fight. So without rescheduling Maidana, the "Ghost" (for disappearing) Guerrero goes in another direction. They are all afraid to fight Marcos Maidana.

As far as styles go I think Guerrero is a great match up for Floyd. I doubt it will happen though because of the lack of money it would generate in comparison to Floyd's previous fights. Don't fool yourselves into thinking he's too small. He can reach him with his jab, and he moves well. That's more than anyone else he's fought lately. Hell he's a quality counter puncher as well. For those of you who say that he's a nobody, you better educate yourselves on what your watching. I think he might be biting off a little more than he can chew right now, but who knows I think it would be a competitive fight for sure just based on the styles and skill level of Guerrero. I'm sure Floyd's camp knows it too, that's why it will never happen. High risk, low reward. I would give Floyd major respect for choosing to fight him though.

If not Martinez I wouldnt mind seeing PBF/Maidana. Floyd would destroy him but it would be fun to watch. Guerrero aint ready for prime time. Nothing to gain for Floyd right now, Guerrero should be going after Khan @ 147 then the winner should fight the winner of Ortiz/Berto then the last man standing vs. Floyd makes a more sense.

Ortiz is a MUCH better fighter at welter, and would kill Maidana in a rematch.

lol at spanking marcos...it was back and forth action mofo...you're prooly basing guerrero beating marcos based on that katsidis win....lol...unlike katsidis, marcos does not just follow his opponent, he cuts the ring off pretty well...and if you have seen the guerrero vs salido fight, robert is prone to hooks, somthing marcos does pretty well esp the looping hooks when not in close range.....guerrero has not done anything for me to believe he beats marcos ...

Guerrero didn't get knocked down, he landed more punches on Katsidis than Marquez did and got hit less.
