And that's what overhyping a fighter does.

Manny can't lose, when he gets schooled its not him being outboxed he really wins and just seems like he lost because you are so used to him dominating that by comparison a competitive fight may as well be him getting ko'd.....gotcha

cant beleive the double standards on here.manny can go thru hell get a disputed win and come out looking like a bruised turd and he's a warrior.floyd can dominate the entire fight get hit 1 time and he has no legs and looks shot

Diaz, Oscar, Hatton, Cotto Clottey, Margarito, and Shane. He shuts out Shane 12rounds to 0, even drops him, and somehow the haters claim he was exposed! On the same token, they claimed Floyd put on a masterpeice against Shane although Shane almost put Floyd's head in the 3rd row.
Your reasoning is utterly specious and nonsensical. Most of these "haters" that you're talking about are formally folks who were blindly for Pacquiao. As to Manny's next seven opponents, only someone trying to fool themselves would give Manny full credit for beating fighters on the decline or that have been badly beaten in their previous fights. Also if you remember, when Floyd fought Shane, Shane was actually ranked in the P4P rankings and coming off one of the biggest wins of his career, the utter and complete annihilation of Antonio Margarito.

Fact is, Pac and JMM can fight 10 times and it will be close all 10 times. Styles make fights. Was Mayorga a better boxer than Vernon Forrest because he lost to him 2x? Absolutely not.

Lets all hope now that Pac/May gets done for May 5th!
This whole rationale of Manny and Marquez fighting ten times and getting the same result is a conclusion some have come to in retrospect. As I remember there were many inept predictions of Manny taking Marquez out in three rounds or less? So when it didn't happen, those that worship the diminutive Filipino as some sort of deity needed a fall back position that left Manny’s status as P4P king intact.

The fact is, Manny Pacquiao is a tremendous boon for the sport of boxing and I wish him nothing but continued success. But what I can't do however is bury my head in the sand and act like Pacquiao and his limited boxing ability weren’t exposed, they were.

The only people that thought Manny was invincible were his fans.

Again, how is coming in heavier an advantage?

            Thanks in advance.

Nonetheless, he won clearly against a good welterweight.

Mayweather's performance against Mosley was better imo. Besides getting caught big by a couple of punches in round 2 which to me showed just how good Mayweather's chin and mental toughness is, he dominated Mosley in better fashion.

Mayweather wasn't expected to stand in Mosley's range like that yet he did and dominated with pin point jabs, lead right hands and left hooks. He also made Mosley look average on the inside.

I don't think it's right to state that Pacquiao standards are different from everyone elses and then use Mayweather as an example considering Mayweather gets the least credit for whatever he does on this website.

Weren't u *****s crying about how PAC was going to have a weight advantage on JMM who is a LW?

If being heavier in boxing isn't an advantage, why even have weight classes?
