If it happens once or twice, it can be considered unintentional. But if it happens consistently during the fight, it becomes highly su****ious. Like somebody mentioned, stepping on the opponents foot is one of the oldest dirty tricks in the books. It is also one of the easiest to get away with, unlike continuous hugging or repeated head butting, since the ref, the judges and the rest of the viewers are glued to what is happening above the waist.

Unintentional? On the earliers rounds, maybe... until you see Rd 12, where Marquez tried to "follow" Pacquiao's right foot, and tried to keep stepping on it.



... and NOBODY here even mentions of the head butt that cut Pacquiao's right eye.

Pacquiao is partly to be blamed because his camp had raised people's expectations, predicting a KO in Rd 6. Hopefully next time Pacquiao doesn't get too distracted. He looks sharp on 24/7, but he is nothing like it on fight night.

Yes, I've been specifically mentioning that 12th rd ever since the video came out. Nothing could be more revealing. He's actually walking forward keeping his foot on top of Pacquiao's foot, trying to keep him pinned down for a longer time. This time it was 2-3 steps. Nothing accidental about THAT.

Even the other other times look the result of long practice, since they are not just a foot sliding over the canvas and barely making contact with the opponent's foot, which is the normal occurrence, like MannyP did a few times, but a deliberate full lifting of the whole foot, balancing on the heel, and coming down and pinning Pacquiao's foot underneath so he can't move.

It was then that he scored his most effective blows, whilst Pacquiao was distracted, trying bth to move, get away and punch at the same time. Roach is saying what he said because it's normal for a feet co come in contact, but as he didn't see what was really happening, he said what he said.,

And, as I said before, I don't follow any boxer, they are both good fighters, and it was a good though not great fight, which Pacquiao properly won. He was very disappointed because he expected to provide a KO for is fans, and felt he'd let them down. Typical of his character makeup.

JMM 8-4 easy. I have seen multiple times now. i dont see a close fight at all i see Marquez out boxing a frustrated Pac and at end of fight i see a defeated Pac and corner. Not even close in my eyes. I have tried to see the close fight so many speak of and i dont. JMM was robbed. And please stop the foot stomping thing its sad to even bring it up. But this gift decision was given to Pac to fight Mayweather not a rematch. If Pac says he clearly won and Arum says he clearly won then there is no need for a 4th. Let me repeat this again, is manny on a whole another league compare to Floyd and the rest?
