Not after Pac fights Mayweather. Everyone will turn their Pac on him and JMM won't have to fight Pac and the judges.

After Pac fight's Floyd, Pac's stock drops. The *******s will jump ship as they won't be able to stand having a god that was beaten by Mayweather...

This is where JMM makes his case for a 4th rematch. Pac with no hype makes it an even match.

The only way I would support a rematch is if it's IMMEDIATE, like they announce it this week and set it for February. I really don't want to go through another 'world tour', 200 press conferences, another 24/7, etc. I think a countdown show would suffice. In order to create some real interest and dispell rumors of a 'fix' how about this.... have the fight in Mexico.

They could fill one of their 100,000 capacity soccer stadiums in 2 days. Get some new judges from countries not named USA, Mexico, or the Philippines. That way no one can say the crowd will be in Pacquiao's favor and the judges will be neutral. If Pacquiao wins in controversial fashion again, there'd be a damn riot... probably the same if he wins by KO

That would help to create intrigue and interest IMO. Don't do the played out Vegas, same ol 24/7 thing. Add a new wrinkle to the story, make it worthwhile for the fans to invest more money into this thing.

But most of all, no 6 month wait. Manny's only got a few fights left, no time to waste.

Let's get that on cause the people at the arena don't judge fight and fighters don't judge fight so let's get it on with new judges.

I always believed you were a real boxing fan, despite not agreeing with some things you post. How you could support a rematch is beyond me. Come on dude!

            1. jmm is to blame for the immediate rematch not happening in 2005. jmm turned down a 50/50 split offered by hbo. jmm asked for double what pac was getting.

            2. the delay of the 3rd fight actually worked in jmm's favor. so even though an immediate rematch in 2008 would have been nice , jmm actually benefited from it. financially and legacy wise. giving pac a tough fight now after what pac has done in recent years , only adds to jmm's resume. not to mention the bigger money now than then.

So Pac can duck Mayweather? The 1st rematch took 4 years. The 2nd took 3 years. Pac said he agrees to fight Mayweather.... Now we have *******s calling for an "IMMEDIATE" rematch? I knew *******s would jump ship about Pac beating Mayweather but really...... this soon?

Floyd says he wants to fight in February. If he really wants Manny in May, he can have Al Haymon call Todd DuBoef and get the ball rolling on actual negotiations. Until then, as it has been for going on 3 years, it's all empty talk.

people say marquez might of killed the mayweather fight vs pacquiao,i say on the contrary..since marquez made pacquiao somewhat vulnerable, may is not so afraid now..

Floyd said he would like to fight in Feb. Everyone knows that is too soon for Pac who just went to hell and back this past weekend. If Pac wants Floyd, May it is. If he and Bob don't want it even though they said "there are no issues", Floyd could fight as early as Feb.

The ball does NEED to get rolling, Pac said let's get it on, I expect Floyd to make the next move. Not for Pac to jump on a another rematch with JMM, Pac won. There is nothing more to discuss about it.
Pac can fight JMM after Floyd. Let JMM fight a JWW or WW IF he does not want to return to LW. After Mayweather and Pac, Pac can go fight JMM for another last big PPV before he retires.

Pac and Floyd should get it on next but no matter who wins there will be a rematch clause so JMM probably won't get another shot at Pac until he turns 40. By that time he might be past fighting pac or anybody again. I think him fighting Amir Khan might be a good ideal.
