If mayweather chooses to counter punch using pot shots, that's not going to do the work. Floyd won't win by throwing 40-45 punches/round, while he has a guy across from him moving around the ring, jumping in and out like the Tasmanian Devil, throwing twice that number of punches. Floyd will have to take risks like Marquez by punching with Pac using combinations.
Is floyd capable, Of course. Only question is... does floyd himself believe it!
I didn't exactly see JMm taking any risk. He basically fought off his backfoot inviting Pac in and countering him. And at times, he would try and pot shot Pac. But when he did this, he had to take risks of getting hit in return. Mayweather will be able to counter Pac as good or better than JMM. The difference is, he won't have to take the risk to lead because of the height and reach he enjoys that JMM doesn't. When Pac is being countered, he becomes somewhat timid and not as active. When this happens in the Mayweather fight, he's finished because Mayweather can pot shot him without being in range of being countered himself.

Mayweather may be a counter puncher but they're styles are nothing alike.. not even close.

        I'll take that as sarcasm.

Translation: Mayweather will beat Pac to a pulp so the best bet for my hero is to try and concince the world he's scared and fight JMM again.

Mayweather has a date and a venue. Tell ya boy to show up and that will turn into woulda, shoulda, coulda, and DID. Unfortunately, ya boy will continue to try and convince your kind that Money's scared and ya'll will eat it up. Have fun watching ya boy against the Ortiz-Berto loser next spring.

BTW, regardless on what the official result was night, ya boy lost that mythical P4P title that ya'll hold so dearly. Pac will not be on top of one credible P4P list after that performance. So now, the ball is no longer in Mayweather's court. Pac has to prove that he's the best fighter in the world. And he's gonna have to face a stylistic nightmare to do it. Goog luck.

JMM was basically on his backfoot all night countering Pac and pot shotting from the outside when Pac was confused and not active.
