Even if Mayweather would of weight 144. Marquez could not do anything to beat Mayweather that night.
probably. . . but don't you lot claim that cotto was "drained" by pacquiao? hmmm . . . not sure if you were one of the guys complaining about the 2 pounds. . . either way - marquez and mayweather are completely different fighters. . . mayweather is not as good of an offensive fighter as marquez. . . marquez was able to stymy pac because not only did he counter, BUT ALSO, he woudl continue the attack with combinations. . . Floyd is not that kind of fighter - he is a "one shot" counter guy. . . MOREOVER, Marquez has more balls, and a better jab, and is a better body puncher. . .
Im going to be laughing again at all these noobs if may/pac happens, and when it is a close, competitive fight. . .

Making Floyd Mayweather Jr. sign a contract to fight Manny Pacquiao would be a great accomplishment. The fight between Manny Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather Jr. should have happened a year ago when the whole world was deeply yearning for it to happen...but it is not too late and the fight should happen. It is better late than never. During the Pacquiao/Marquez fight you will notice that Alex Ariza was more vocal than anybody else in Manny's corner, more vocal than Freddie Roach. If you will watch the fight replay you will find out why. During the early part of the fight Manny was already suffering from a leg cramp or maybe it started even before the fight begun. During one of the breaks you will hear Alex asking Manny "does it hurt?" and Manny will respond "yes". Alex was so much worried that it might get worsen as the fight progresses. Alex knows that it can spell trouble and maybe everybody that watched the fight noticed Manny's movement was not so swift and smooth in throwing punches coming from different angles. This can be a sign of over training. If ever Pacquiao/Mayweather happens...I hope Manny Pacquiao will listen to his corner not to over train himself because this can spell disaster in his corner. This same problem happened during the Pacquiao/Mosley fight. I hope Manny's corner doesn't have the same problem if ever Pacquiao/Mayweather fight take place. The world would like to see Pacquiao and Mayweather at their best come fight night.

There are a lot of nice, good, quality Pac fans and I like Pac but take my advice Pac fans, do not bet any more than you cannot afford to lose. I like Pac's attitude and he seems like a nice guy but he will lose to Mayweather, make no mistake about it. Don't bet your money. I have a feeling the Phillipines will have a lower economy level after Pac fights Mayweather cause people are going to pour their last dollars on Pac and come up short.
