Mayweather has many different styles and does alot of the things Marquez does.Counter punching Check,Combinations(occasionally)check,Movement check,Jab Check,.

And on top of that he`s better at adapting then Marquez and has a much greater boxing IQ then Marquez.

who cares... pacquiao could never handle floyd....

he built some momentum during floyd's retirement.... but he could never live with floyd

top rank's propaganda has made manny what he is... that and is loyal fanbase....

but in truth he's not nearly the fighter people have made him out to be....

        right hand... what right hand???

he's one handed, one dimensional.... and get's stopped by floyd.... marquez is p4p a better fighter than manny, of that there's no doubt.
I have been saying that for years, that fact is actually plainly obvious.

Forget the fact that Pacquiao simply cannot beat Marquez..... Juan jumped TWO DIVISIONS to face the supposed best P4P fighter in the world, and yet Manny cannot fight anyone dangerous in his own division without a catch-weight.

There is simply no comparison, its like everybody has forgotten what P4P actually means?

Marquez is P4P the best fighter in the world based on the traditional meaning of P4P, which is based on the latin phrase "ceteris paribus"..... the "equal" in boxing, is weight, and even though Pacquiao attempted to disadvantage Marquez by dragging him up to a "catch-weight" that even Manny himself couldnt make (and this is after admitting that his best fighting weight is 140)..... Manny lost that fight.

Marquez is the best P4P fighter in the world, and is now likely the 3rd best Mexican fighter of all time. Martinez is second, for the exact same reason..... for punching above his weight and taking out the #1 and #2 middleweights.

So can Marquez, and he will do it as the smaller man, which is why he is the P4P #1 best fighter on the planet.

This is the only fight I ant to see when it comes to either Floyd or Manny.

Case closed. Fight each other or retire. You won't get another penny out of me.

            THis. . . this. .. AND THIS!!! Boxing is a SWEET SCIENCE. . . not a "magical mathematic formula". . . Pac/Mayweather in May 2012 or else. . .

how about answering my thread about Ricky Burns vs. Antonio Demarco? Lets talk other fights. . . this is over - history

If one should know triangle theories don't work it should be De La Hoya.
Floyd and Marquez have the same style... Floyd's just a superior version of it... Its not really a triangle theory

Agree Marquez should had won this fight... but what woul be in the air the day after if the result were 1) Pac convincingly won by TKO - Mayweather might have second thoughts of fighting Pac. 2) Marquez won over Pac - No fight with Mayweather. 3) If result was a draw - Marquez and Pac has to settle for another fight (another delay for Pac / Mayweather fight). Pac wins over Marquez thru decision - Mayweather as well as boxing fans thinks Pac could not win against Mayweather. And Mayweather / Pac pushes through (I hope).....Those people controlling this boxing bussiness I believe are milking us... not the fighters inside the ring nor the judges....

I don't think DLH is using a triangle theory method to come to this conclusion. I think he is looking at the fact that Pac struggles with fast handed counterpunchers. I don't think Mayweather is far and away superior to Pac. He's just a stylistic nightmare.

In turn, Mayweather seems to get hit more against fast handed southpaws. Difference is, he's never been taken to the limit by a fast handed southpaw like Pac has been taken to the limit by JMM. If Ortiz had done to Mayweather what JMM did to Pac, the *******s would be on here in mass volume professing that it proved that Mayweather can't handle southpaws.

We know that Mayweather is at least JMM's equal (LMAO.) Its logical to think that he would be able to at least equal, and probably better JMM's effort against the #2 P4P fighter on the planet.
