I knew this thread would be filled with hate. Dirrell is extremely talented and got cheap shotted. I don't see how thats his fault, but most people on here are selfish idiots. They feel like some fighters owes them something, so even if he gets kod by a cheap shot and cant continue its his fault.

He ducked Andre Ward and quit the Super Six. For that, he deserves to be in the Showtime doghouse. No one believed his Dr.'s note, not even Showtime.

Damn I havent seen this cat in awhile... I remember when he schooled Froch though. Froch got so frustrated that he did a cheap shot body slam on him, MMA style.

Dirrell has talent, hopefully he is cleared to fight and gets back on track. Not too many fighters are fighting "the best" with as many fights as he has. That right there displays his talent.

Was the kid faking it? Did he quit the super six to avoid a fight with his friend Andre Ward?
Those are a good questions, but unfortunately we will never really know.

All I know is the last time he was in the ring he showed great speed, movement and power. Remember he did KD Arthur Abraham, and completely dominated him. It was exciting to watch, and I hope we can see more of that soon.

I too felt that he was clearly superior to Froch in that fight.

Hopefully Dirrell is healthy now and can come back to the sport to live up to his potential, which is through the roof. Would love to see him fight Lucian Bute.
