Lets honestly evaluate floyd's performance vs ortiz.

Ok to me floyd's reflexes are not what they were for the marquez fight. He got hit with a few shots that he would not have gotten hit with 3-4 years ago. Also floyd's handspeed definately looked slower in this fight. I'm not saying that because he wasn't landing often ortiz (Because he was landed a decent ammount) but to me he just doesn't look anywhere near as quick as people are saying he is and how he looked spectacular.

I think floyd was winning 3 rounds to 1 when the fight ended.

Floyd won fair and square in my eyes i'm just saying I think he is way past it and for all the training he did for this fight he is starting to look old.

    Anyone else want to elaborate?

I think he looked fine. He is not this god figure that doesn't get hit at all, he BARELY got hit against a pretty good and fast fighter. How often does he fight people as fast as Ortiz?

Floyd looked like shyt. He was hurt in the 4th round until he cheated his way out. He better retire for his sake.

It's hard to evaluate his, or even Ortiz's performance for that matter, off only 4 rounds.

Had Floyd knocked out Zab Judah in the same fashion in the closing seconds of the 4th round, how would you consider that performance?

With that said, I though Floyd looked great considering he was in there with a young and strong guy.

his handspeed looked slower to me too, his reflexes still seemed the same to me though

I had him winning all 4 rounds

i dont have much time right now, but i was thinking the same thing, he kinda looked a little slower, he missed a few that he normally wouldve made and did get caught with a few he shouldve dipped. hes soo skilled that its hard to notice. because you can say with his coming forward hes going to get hit a little more now and maybe be in range where he usually isnt and a little off balance maybe. its kinda dangerous but i take my hat off to him for it. i think mayweather is the best in my time and before my time skill wise. yeah other guys maybe can hit harder, etc... but its just a punchers chance, thats all, your gonna have to go with the skill every time. i was so nervous when mosley caught him in that second round then he went into that peek-a-boo style and walked him down, man i was so proud. but it just shows he can be versatile when needed, he always said he beats boxers with his C or B game, not even his A game. I BELIEVE HIM... he said he didnt even really go into his bag of tricks in his fights because he didnt have to. thats what make him great to me and so dangerous. his father said if shane makes Floyd fight then shane will have a problem, his dad knows how viscious that offensive attack can get, i think he was gonna embarress Ortiz "Gatti style" had the fight went on. sorry for being all over the place but yeah man i kinda saw it, but was it intentional to lure him in? i dont know man? he loves to act like a guy is backing him into the ropes whil all the time the guy maybe land a few but mostly is hitting thin air, just look at the slow motion replays, it looks different at regular speed but in slow motion i saw Floyd had Ortis' time down by the 2nd round and was throwing at the same time but a little slower just behind ortis' hand and cracking him off balance i was totally amazed man, i dont know who but some one on here has all these GIFs of the timing punches happening.

he's exactly the same, it's becuase he's fighting some of the best fighter's he's ever faced fighters, old mosley and best southpaw he's faced(after being hurt by corley and kd'd by judah) in ortiz

it's only normal, he even got caught with a couple of right hands by the much smaller and blown up marquez

                he had trouble with hatton

honestly, people act like floyd is roy jones in his prime with the domination, floyd is nowhere near

ortiz was about as fast as may that night. thats why it was exciting. yes floyd did not look like his normal invincible self.. but maybe he wasnt trying. as he said, he beats fighters with his C game, never has to go to his B or A game

cant wait to see whats in dat bag of tricks. could he pull a mosley on ortiz? floyd was lighting him up pretty good eventually. maybe he was slower because he was hitting harder? or saving the speed for later as a surprise attack..

PEOPLE ALWAYS SAY THAT MAYWEATHER STARTS SLOWLY IN THE EARLY ROUNDS AND THE FIGHT ENDED IN THE 4th ROUND
