Loved the article. First off, if the shoe would have been on the other foot than everyone would praise Ortiz. Like if Money would have head butted Ortiz and Ortized took a cheap shot out of anger (which Money clearly did) everyone would praise him and say that Money got what he deserved. gatti never landed any meaningful punches vs floyd . it was onesided. ortiz won round 2 and was winning round 4. was rounging up floyd at times and landing good shots. stop exaggerating by saying it was a blow out.

Evander Holyfield got hit with an intentionally hard low blow in a hard fought battle with Michael Dokes, the ref seperated the fighters, gave time to Evander (which he quickly shook off), and then the ref properly called "time in", when the two fighters exchanged on the inside, EVANDER PAID BACK DOKES with a like-for-like low blow. I honestly was pissed off at Ortiz after his ****** headbut (as he was getting the better of Floyd on the ropes) and wanted Floyd to knock his ass out afyer that but at least Ortiz apologized profusely (and way too much in my opinion) and that is where Floyd committed his sucker punch (which I don't blame him for under his adrenalin and heated feelings after being headbutted) and then to show no remorse over it and to do his classless little rant on Merchant to avoid addressing the sucker punch and the NEXT QUESTION THAT ALWAYS HAUNTS HIM - WHEN WILL YOU, Pretty Boy "VOID"(as in aVOID), FINALLY FIGHT PACQUIAO??? No, it would have really been Gatti 2. Why? Well Ortiz had absolutely no answer for Floyd's lead right hands. Floyd was loading them up and landing them at will. Ortiz had absolutely no answer for it. And with Ortiz bloating up 17 pounds within 24 hours, he would have really been hurt later on. Most who saw the fight had Floyd winning every round, including the 4th where again, he was just landing right hands and right hands over and over again.

I agree with that.

Just disappointed at the ending as a fan.

It would have been nice to see Floyd break him down even more then get him later.

Lyle Fitzsimmons Is An Idiot!

Calling Larry Merchant a blowhard is ridiculous. He's been nothing but professional with a class take on each fight he's been a part of. Would I rather listen to Roy Jones Jr, or George Foreman? I don't think so. Merchant got disrespected by a punk from the hood, who is all about his money, his bling, who he runs with ie; another thug who calls himself 50 cent. You don't have to like Merchant for whatever reason, but he's always been a Pro, a gentleman, and a historian of the sport of Boxing. Lyle Fitzsimmons is as much of a clown as Floyd is.

Sometimes I wonder what Larry has been drinking, but the guy is a good for the sport. He loves boxing, he does ask the questions that need to be asked. Floyd acted like a jack wagon and prima donna. Victor deserved what he got and it was still a cheap shot. I would bet Larry wants to see Floyd knocked out by Pac, but he questions were not out of line. Floyd acted like a child.
