Just as, I'm sure, Filipino boxing fans would not have known about Floyd Mayweather until after 2001, why would American fans know much about an Pacific-Asian star until he went Stateside?

This may come as a surprise to many Americans, especially Floyd Mayweather, but he world is bigger than America. The USA encompasses of the global population.
Veeraphol Sahaprom was firmly planted in the Bantamweight division back then, and I personally always wondered why Pacquiao never challenged him? This question has managed to be avoided several times, so maybe you could answer it. Why did Pacquiao go from Flyweight straight to Super Bantamweight , when the Deathmask fight was right there to be made?

both of PAC's earlier KO lost can be attributed to being weight drained as in both fights he also lost to the scales, when PAC jumped from Fly to superbatam its was best thing to do as it was at that time closer to his fighting weight...

Veeraphol Sahaprom was the only marquee fighter in Asia and internationally between 112-122. If Manny was able to compete at 112, he could have competed at 118. He and his handlers chose to avoid 118 all together.

            Nice try at trolling mate.

Veeraphol Sahaprom is a nobody. He stayed in Asia because he has fought mainly bums and novices throughout his career. You probably didn't bother to look at before posting this attempt at discrediting Pacquiao.

After his 2nd loss at 112lbs, Pacquiao moved up to 122lbs because the weight draining was making him too weak.

              To answer Mayweather's question:

Pacquiao was becoming a 2 weight world champion 1996 to 2001. Mayweather was becoming a 1 weight world champion. They both won their first world title in the same year. Pacquiao was a world champion 2 years younger than Mayweather.

Where was Pacquiao? 2 weight divisions below you.

Nobody respects those TinyWeight titles in SouthEast Bum**** Asia.

I saw Mayweather fight when he was 19. Had you ever heard of Pacquiao when he was 19? Be honest.

Pac didn't reach P4P status until 2002-2003. That's what Mayweather meant by the comment.

Hey Troll, Sahaprom was one of the most durable fighters in the last 25 years, and that "fought mainly bums and novices" argument is same argument *****s are making about Pacquiao guy. Give me a fighter in Manny's 1st 40 fights thats even remotly close to being compared to Sahaprom, a lineal champ for almost a decade with over a dozen title defenses. Your pathetic excuse and reply reflects pure ignorance, but it's ok that's why I'm here to school you.
