I've expressed my dislike for Merchant before. He's the type of dude that doesn't have anything good to say about a fighter who isn't entertaining him personally. He's funny as heck sometimes though. I will say that i'm glad Floyd told him off though, I can't remember any post fight interview that Larry has conducted with Floyd where he's had anything positive to say. He just seems like a bitter old man now. Funny as heck though when he said he'd beat Floyd is he was 50 years younger, LOL.

Even if you're a fan of Floyd then there's no way you can be happy that you bought the PPV after that ridiculous ending.

There were other fights on there that were pretty decent. And, although the ending was wutever... The fight prior to the ending was very entertaining. Floyd showed his usual skill, and Ortiz did he best...

And, lets be honest, who predicted that kind of KO.... Anyone that predicted a stoppage was thinking "TKO, ref stoppage" or "TKO, Ortiz quits"... U gotta learn to nit-pick the good over the bad.

Merchant Is Credible, Mayweather Never Has Been!

Floyd is just some punk from the hood, the ******. He was scared of Ortiz, he felt Ortiz power, strength and size. Floyd did not want to be in that ring. He wanted that $30M payday, he just didn't want to be in that ring, and knew if he didn't pull something early, Ortiz would gain momentum as the fight wore on. For Floyd to pile on Larry Merchant is yet another classless antic by the Mayweather Klan. Merchant has been a tremendous ambassador for the game of Boxing long before Floyd ever came along. It's too bad a punk like Floyd would disrespect and get in the face of an 80 year old man. They need a mandatory rematch, for the fight ending abruptly on his punches during. A break which ended the fight.

I hate Larry Merchan'ts ass but that **** he did was funny as I don't know what. I agree. Victor could have gotten up. He acted like he got hit by George Foreman. I thought Floyd was featherfisted. He quit and got his big check. Victor had no chance in the fight anyways. To beat Floyd you have ONE chance in the first couple of rounds. If you don't knock his azzz OUT early, your in for a long night.
